You are so right. The W/R's are going to be OK when everybody is healthy? We miss the speedy Jordy Nelson a lot! Our receivers are relatively slow compared to the rest of the league. We have faster wide receivers but they are not on the field?? The coach is reluctant to change. They have a good Viking team ahead and a loss is more than likely?

The first half ended with the Packers leading 16 to 6. Randell Cobb made the first TD and Datone Jones the first sack! The Vikings defense is awesome but to many mistakes in the first 30 minutes. The Packers made their share of mistakes but not any that cost points. The second halve started with the Packers getting the ball.

The second half was as good as the first. The Packers held the Vikings to 13 points and scored 30. Mason kicked 5 field-goals. My trick of guessing 0 sacks worked as I shamed them into 6 sacks. The mighty Packers are in first place again!

This Thursday, Nov. 26th is the next game! 4 days! Do the Cheese NOW!

The rain fell from the freezing sky a degree from being snow. The Packers moved the ball some and the Bears none. But a second quarter resurgence of the Bears made the score Bears 14 the Packers 13. A lacy fumble gave the Bears the score and the weather held the Packers back. The half time ceremony enshrined Brett Favre into the ring of honor.

The second half was a slow as the first half. The rain was insensate and the dreary weather brought dreary play by the Packers. We had two drives to win the game and it came down to four chances from the ten yard line and we failed all four. Bears win 17 to 13

Oh dear Bob!

I can see a pattern here though.

The past few years I think it would be fair to say that your cheese predictions somewhat sucked?
......however, the packers seemed to play well and get good results.

.....Now they don't seem to play so well...... look where you are in cheese?

mally,

I never looked at it in that way. The Packers are playing well and I stink in Cheese! Now, I am playing Cheese well and the Packers stink! Maybe I should just guess and help my team?

I looked at the Leaderboard ( http://cheesestradamus.com/cheese_king.php ) Six of the people above me are my daughters or their girl friends. They flat out guess every week (probably just to please me?) They are flat out kicking my butt! The players around me (son-in-laws and grand-sons) Read and talk about the Packers and all sports in general. They are also getting beaten by the ladies?

Yesterdays loss was especially hard to take as the Bears are our oldest and most hated adversary. We played uninspired football. We had chances to win in the end and we failed. No bad calls by the referees. (at the end anyway?) We had four chances to move the ball ten stinking yards and we flubbed it?

Thanks again for playing Mally. Someday you might even see a game! The Packers will not play in the U.K. this upcoming season but maybe the next season?

Not in 2016? http://www.nfl.com/international the schedule is set.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South division matchup in Week 4 on Sunday, October 2, at Wembley Stadium; in Week 7 on Sunday, October 23, in the first-ever NFL game at Twickenham Stadium, the St. Louis Rams will host the NFC East team that finishes in the same spot in the standings as the Rams do in the NFC West based on the NFL's scheduling formula; and in Week 8 on Sunday, October 30, the Cincinnati Bengals will play their first international game when they host the Washington Redskins at Wembley.

The Packer fill the stadiums wherever they go? No one wants to give up a Packer game. The team wants to play in the UK. ( Twickenham Stadium ) will be the place I bet? Otherwise your stuck with Sky-net or the NFL channel?

Have a great day Mally!

For the first time in 56 games the Punch-less Packers did not score a point in the first quarter. Two starters on the offensive lines didn't suite up and then the starting center went out with a bad ankle. So only one starter (normally the worst lineman of the bunch) is playing? No one is left to protect our quarterback? The Lions scored 17 points to our 0. The defense stiffened up and the offense slacked off.

The second half started with the Packers still flat and now losing 20 to nothing! With a few flicks of the ball and a lot of luck the Packers scored 14 points within a few seconds. A little while later we stiffened our backs and scored another touchdown. 23 to 21 lions winning. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers launches a last-ditch Hail Mary pass as the clock winds down that finds Richard Rodgers for a miraculous 61-yard touchdown catch to end the game. Zero time on the clock

Next Game is Dec. 13th 12:00 PM 10 days from now! Do the Cheese NOW!

The Packers lead at half time 14 to 0. It was the first time the Cowboys were shut out in the first half in over 4 years. The Packer still didn't look like the old and powerful pack but I will take a 2 score lead anytime. Hopefully we won't screw up at all in the second half. The Cowboys are punch less but anyone can have a big half so Green Bay will have to play it safe. This is the first time the coach has called the plays this year.

The second half became more of a game in the 3rd quarter. But the game ended with a 28 to 7 victory by the Packers. The team ran for 230 yards the most in 11 years. The next game is next Sunday on Dec 20th at 3PM.

The Mighty (lucky) Packers won 30 to 20 over the Raiders. For the third game in a row the Packers played in a constant rain. The offense still looked weak and tentative but the defense won the game with two interceptions. One going for a pick six! Next up the Arizona Cardinals. Sunday the 27th of December. 3:25 PM CST. The Packers qualified for the playoffs even if they lose the last two games.

Two games left in the regular season.

The Packers met with the 12 and 2 Cardinals. The Pack didn't score in the first half for the second time this season. The Packer defense held the high scoring Cardinals to 17 first half points. Which is the average points the Packers normally let be scored in the total game. The Packer offense was as putrid as ever with Aaron throwing another red zone interception. Whatever happened to the Packers this year was an amazing fall from glory to gory.

The second half made the first half look like a victory. The Packers looked like boys in a mans game. Packers lose 38 to 8. The game wasn't as close as the score indicated.

The next game is for the division championship. Either the Packers or the Vikings will be the division champion. The loser will still be in the playoffs but be on the road.

One game left in the regular season.

The first half ended with the Vikings leading 6 to 3. It was a very exciting game so far (sic). The boring game was highlighted by 3 field goals. The winner gets to stay home and play against another wild card team. If the Vikings win they get to play at home against the Seattle Seahawks that are playing great. If the Packers win they get to play the Vikings again at home.

The second half was not much better until the 4th quarter. We had a chance to tie the game but failed to do so. A second chance was also wasted. The Packers had the ball at the end of the game we had another Hail Mary and this time we failed to catch it.

Packers fall to Vikings 20-13, Wild card Playoff game next Sunday Packers go to Washington for a 3:40 p.m. Sunday

Sorry that this was late. I was going to do it first thing in the morning but a few beers got in the way!

The Packers started out about as poor as you get. With no field position they were stymied and couldn't get anything going. The worm turned in the second quarter and Green Bay scored 17 unanswered points and took the lead into the halftime at 17 to 11.
The second half was better than the first and the resurgent packers won 35 to 18. The old Packer offense came back for the first times in months. We play The Cardinals next Saturday at 7:15 Wisconsin time

The Arizona Cardinals had a good game against us just a couple of weeks ago. They beat us 38 to 8. The game was full of uncharacteristic mistakes and we had many new players playing in place of injured starters. We will be ready this Saturday to kick but (I hope?)

Hey Bob, glad the Packers are starting to pull together for you.

Looks like the cheese is getting exciting now, 11 points between 4 players, could go either way now?

I suppose you have been holding back though, just to give us a sniff of victory so you can blast us all away at the last minute! :shoot:

Saturday will be either a big high or a big low. It's win or you are out time! We will still finish the last two weeks but the Packers may be out of the picture? You must be the most improved man in the group? You are doing really well! I am rooting for you matey. I can't win because I run the contest. Good luck. (remember we played them three weeks ago and had a bad night. We lost 38 to 8! They may be the best overall team?)

The surprising Packers held the NFL's most potent offense to 75 yards in the first half! The Packers offense had 166 yards. Randall Cobb is out with a chest injury? The half time score was Cardinal 7 Packers 6. The Cardinals quarterback was sacked by the packers 3 times and we were sacked 0 times. Good Job Packer defense.

The second half started with the Packers getting the ball and the Cardinals getting tired. Scoring but not enough. The Packers took a small lead into the fourth quarter but lost the lead. The game came down to a hail Mary that tied the game with 0 seconds on the clock! In overtime the Cardinals won the coin toss and had a Hugh play that brought them to the 5 yard line where they ran it in for the win! The Packer Season came to a end. Exciting game but we lost 26 to 20.

Two games left. Next Sunday the 24th we will play the Arizona Cardinal Against whoever wins tomorrow the Carolina Panthers or the Seattle Seahawks? The Superbowl is in February in three weeks?

Mally,

Thanks Beer Brother. When I changed the pagers to pick teams instead of players. The internet was giving me trouble and then failed. One of the pages didn't get uploaded. I fixed that just now but I still have work to do updating the chart (which I copy from NFL.com ) and other things. Thanks for the help and reminding me to check. Good luck this Sunday and for the Super Bowl in three weeks. If you are close to winning you may even stay up late and watch the game. Don't forget to change the picks?

Cheers :salute:

For whatever reasons – nerves, mental lapses, physical breakdowns – the Cardinals' best players failed to deliver on the season’s biggest stage: the NFC Championship Game. The Cardinals were awful early and the dark clouds never parted. The Panthers handled them 49-15 to advance to Super Bowl 50, where they will play the Broncos.

Super Bowl 50 is set, and it should be a good one. Cam Newton and the Panthers will face Peyton Manning's Broncos on Feb. 7.

Holy Crap! This is a close one :argh: The next game is the last game of the "Cheese Season" Good Luck!

Broncos 24, Panthers 10

The Broncos swarmed Cam Newton and the favored Carolina Panthers, sacking the NFL’s MVP six times and forcing him to fumble twice, as Denver’s defense stole the show from Peyton Manning, who won his second Super Bowl in possibly his final season.

Great race between all of us. Mally gets the prize since I run the games and can't win! Congratulations Mally! Very close this year. Much improved playing by all. It was a surprising game. The most points scored by anyone was 7 stinking points.
