Ok, MS, I made the adjustments as recommended (see attachment). So the main thing that stands out is that the Fermentable bill calls for 19 lbs of 2-row as opposed to 16 lbs in the original recipe, yet the hops amounts are the same. Do you know why that is happening?
p.s. I had to brew my clone at least 3 times just to zero in on the OG. It helps to know your evaporation rate average and grain absorption too.
Ok, so I understand there is some trial and error with using recipes that don't have a lot of integrity. I am willing to invest the time and money to get better at experimenting with these recipes (including taking more measurements). You have been very helpful -- am I right in assuming that you think this recipe is worth the effort, and the process you are showing me is typical for adjusting to fit the BIABacus?
BTW, I am in no particular rush. Just trying to learn so I can be better with the BIABacus.
