PP, I did get an email from Bob directing me to some bogus websites he built. He is in control of that cheese database and pays FOX network to broadcast bugger everything other than the Packers here in the DEEP SOUTH.

The up side, and there also is an up side, I do get the see the finest southern cheerleaders. , not those cold ones dressed up in flannel. :argh:

I am now set to rely heavily on my own strategeries.

Holy cow! Hot stuff in Florida. Be careful with your heart! :o A old man must watch his ticker! The Fish are doing well this year. It took a spare coach from the Packers to turn it around. We don't mind spreading the wealth. Go Dolphins!

Good luck in Cheese this week?

...

Bob, got back from the long haul truck drive at 7:30am this morning after 32 hours non-stop driving and 1.5 days on a minesite but my first job was to get my Cheese picks in. That is dedication :).

Before leaving, I asked my nephew if there was anything worth seeing on the run. Here's his reply...
Bogged Ute.jpg
We missed that so the main attractions were   , ummm, none.

Oh, hold on! We did pass this yesterday afternoon...
Roll Over (1024x768).jpg
Think you can only see one trailer in the pic but there's actually two. Those were the back two trailers of four on what they call a "road train" here, Road trains can be four trailers long and with the prime mover (truck) can be half a football field (a bit over 50 yards/metres) long. Overtaking them when you are also driving a truck can take a bit of time.

We found out later that the trailers above had been there for well over 16 hours when we went round. The truck driver thought that the person who owned the trailers he was carting should pay the crane and towing bill while the owner of the trailers being carted/hauled thought the opposite :).

P.S. If I don't reply here for a few days after I win Cheese today, it just means I am busy working and trying to get some sleep - possibly simultaneously.

All.

What a surprising score Packers 22 and Lions 9. The last time the Lions won in Wisconsin was 1991. The streak goes on. 23 straight losses to the Packers. It was about the lowest scoring game for the Cheese players also!

Bob, you are a math genius. I checked your calculations above and, bugger me, two times zero is actually zero. I just wish I had known that last week :dunno:.

As for the outback being as you had remembered, that particular run is the shittest, most boring outback trip ever - don't do it!!! I've done a lot of miles in Ozland but if those 1300 kms weren't the most boring on offer, I would be very surprised.

I've already supplied the most interesting pic part of the trip. Here is the best audio...

CB Radio Chatter

Bill: Dave, I saw Johnno a few days ago and he wanted me to give you a message.

Dave: Ah, good on him. How's he going?

Bill: He's real good.

Dave: Great. What'd he have to say anyway?

Bill: Hold on a sec, he wanted me to get it right so I wrote it down... Here it is, he said to tell you to, "Go and get f#&*ked."

...

That's about as good as it gets on that run.

After a dismal showing last week lets hope that we will do better tomorrow. "Do the cheese" Now. Don't put it off because you will forget! Make a old man happy (me) and take a few seconds to make your picks now. The season is in full swing and you can take a swing at me by trying to beat me at "Cheese"! I doubt it can be done because of my superior mental capacity! But you may get lucky enough to overcome my brilliantly thought out picks? It can be done but I doubt it?

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby....

I reckon you should make it a new rule that BIABrewer players can't redeem their weekly Cheese points if they don't post something interesting/amusing once a week. Or, acknowledge an interesting/amusing thread once a week ;).

I'm thinking that most people will take the easy way out but at least this will force them into acknowledging our hugely interesting and witty posts here.

Won't it?

  :dunno:

(You should copy your weekly emails here though Bob. They are always good fun;))

Only temporarily, I am about to break loose anytime now. My prognostications are so good I new that you would have a good week! I was going to tell you last week that you were going to get eight points this week but you needed a little pressure. I am going to write down your points for next week on a piece of paper now to prove it! I'll let you know next week what you picked!

Players,

Sundays game is a late afternoon game (3:30 PM). The Packers will be wearing the uniforms from 1929. Not the exact same ones, they were rotted away years ago! The following week we play at 7:30 PM for the first nationally broadcast night game of the year.

The injuries have been unbelievable. We might not be able to fill the game roster with a full complement of healthy players? We have 14 rookies playing because of the stars being injured. No other team has more than 8!

If you don't have your picks in? Do it now! It's so easy to forget.

Normally all teams play on Sunday except one game on Monday night and one game on Thursday night. College plays on Saturday and High schools play on Friday nights. There is a gentleman's agreement not to interfere with college or high school money making?

Players,

The Packers played a good game. Only one player (that we know of) was taken to the hospital in a ambulance. That's a first in 2013 that we only had one player carted off the field. We won in a light rain with 8 or 9 regular players not playing. We are now in first place in our division!

Bob said he had inside information this week and if I sent him $50, I could copy his picks. Another fifty down the drain .

By the way, if you Google Packers versus whoever, the first result will be the time of the next game/s but the time will be given in your local time. For example...

Lylo,

Remember this?
(BobBrews says) I am about to break loose anytime now. My prognostications are so good I new that you would have a good week! I was going to tell you last week that you were going to get eight points this week but you needed a little pressure. I am going to write down your points for next week on a piece of paper now to prove it! I'll let you know next week what you picked!
I looked at the paper and .... indeed I predicted 3 points!!! How is that for proving my talents! I didn't want to tell you in advance that you would do so poorly because I didn't want you to loose heart and give up. :sneak:

I decided not to score well myself because of "rubbing it in" and all that. I am a true gentleman in that regard. However we are getting close to midway and prizes are at stake so I may decide to really try now. This contest brings out the beast in me and I will take no prisoners. Besides I have four or five grandchildren that are beating me and those four and five year old kids need a good lesson!

As always, I am open to bribes! (No shame here) :smoke:

PP :shoot:

The Packer schedule is located right here.

http://media.jsonline.com/documents/2013gbsked.pdf

I have a link to it on the home page on the right side. PP Don't worry about the money you sent. It will be put towards the picks next week! just follow me and my picks

The Packers have been devastated with injuries to key players. This makes it harder to predict everything because it's harder to score with odd players filling in. Even if they play well how do you know that in advance to pick them? So take heart players. The Packers are in first place by a smidgeon. Next week we play a late night game against the Vikings in Minnesota who have 1 win this year (they are playing tonight) So it may be 2 wins. It's always a challenge to play them.

EDIT: They lost again! they are now 1 win (they won in London so they have never won in the US this season) and 5 losses! Soon to be 6 losses?
