1. Where are you from?
Tampa, FL, USA

2. How did you stumble across the site?
A post on www.homebrewtalk.com suggested it, as well as an article in Zymurgy on BIAB

3. What you think of it so far?
Argh, my eyes!!!

4. Have you brewed at all before. If so, for how long and what method are you currently using?
I am a new brewer - batch #5 is fermenting now - but I can't say I've been too pleased with the results of batches 1-4 so far. Well, batch #2 was pretty good - an extract + steeping grains based clone of Bell's Two-Hearted Ale - but the rest have exhibited a strange almost astringent off-flavor, with both the hops and malt character very muted.

5. Do you work? Are you retired or maybe you run a household?
Work, yes. I'm the EE/part owner of a small company that makes power conversion products for electric vehicles.

Hi, folks. My name is Michael and I hail from Winnipeg, Canada. I've been brewing for about 10 years now with the odd break for work stuff. I've been thinking about going all grain for some time, but the equipment costs and length of brew day put me off. I stumbled upon this site after seeing a Northern Brewer TV BIAB episode. From what I've read so far, it looks like BIAB will be just the ticket.

Kia ora folks!

I'm a Pom living in Palmy, NZ. I found this site whilst stumbling around the web, looking for a low cost entry into the world of all grain brewing.

I've done a few kit beers, including a couple using yeast recultured from a crate of Coopers Pale Ale. After spending a few months putting together the gear needed, I recently took the plunge and did my first BIAB brew, a SMaSH pale ale, which is bubbling away in my beer fridge now.

When I'm not brewing, I work in the IT / Project Management Team in a NZ insurance company.

Cheers!

Hello everyone! I am a new brewer just started in January '13 after receiving a 1 gallon extract with specialty grain kit for Christmas (honey ale). I am completely hooked with home brewing. I literally spend all my free time reading forums, books or listening to podcasts on homebrewing.

I did my second batch (oatmeal stout) in February as a mixture of a partial mash and BIAB. I'm loving the benefits of BIAB and came about this site from a mention on http://www.homebrewtalk.com/

Looking forward to leaning more about this method from this site!

Edit: I meant to add I am from Orlando, Florida before posting but had a quick trigger finger ;)

Hi All,

A great resource, recommended by a good friend who's leading the all grain charge!

I'm based in the UK and love brewing. I've only done a few all grain brews but aim to do more :)

Great place to hang out and surf a few hours, thanks for your efforts
Andy.

Greetings.
I am Californian - site looks good, I have not spent as much time here as I have at HBT.com, which is where I learned about BIABrewer.com in the first place. Been brewing about a year. Did my first BIAB in December, had good efficiency...since then not as good and struggling with why. I just downsized my system to do electric BIAB 2.5 gallon batches.

Cheers!
