Good to hear and thanks for the follow up. I've ordered one of these to try as I continue to experiment with hopping and no-chill. I'm thinking that using this screen rig thingy will allow me to not have to worry about compensating for the late addition hops that end up going into the cube and affecting flavor while hot-soaking for several more hours.

Yes, I know I could KISS by just using a bag to put the hops in during the boil but I have an insatiable need to try out the latest "cool" stuff.

Great post natept. Thanks a heap for getting back to us.

I reckon there are a few people like thughes, crusty, myself etc who have learned the hard way that simplicity is often the winner when it comes to brewing.

What I can never work out is why we don't turn our minds to making the really hard, time-consuming stuff in brewing (like cleaning :dunno:) simple. Surely we can come up with some clever gadgetry there. That really would be valuable :party:.

Hey, what did the 'quit using hop bags' bit mean? I've forgotten :P,
