Thanks PP and all!

The Green Bay Packers victory and a few beers were a pre-birthday present. Today (the 17th) my present is that my wife is spending the morning away with one of our daughters and I have 20+ gallons of beer to myself! I normally have low expectations so I expect to get high?

Yeasty,

I have 60 years of following the Packers and where has it got me? My mom scored higher, but I think I beat Taz the dog? Your doing great. I hope when the Super Bowl comes along you will get a chance to see the Packers or at least watch football so you can say "Oh that's what rushing means" You and our merry band of brewers are making a old man happy just playing! Thanks again!

Lylo,

You didn't miss it! It's today! I still have time to savor home brew! It's tiring to crawl to the tapper but some sacrifices must be made! Do they Have December 17th in Canada too? Wow what a small world!

That greeaaattt Bob!That means I can get drunk with you again tonight, and blame it on you again when my wife starts ranting!
I have petitioned the Harper Govt. to ban the 17th but they said it was too important.

Lylo, Joshua,

Lylo you have my permission to get wasted. You can print out this post and give it to the wife.

Wow! They have the 17th of December in Canada too? I thought with all that metric stuff you used different numbers like all months have 100 days and each week had 10 days and a day had 10 hours?

Joshua I wish I felt and looked like I did when I was 32! Yes, I would still be ugly but when I moved I wouldn't feel pain in every joint and I would not have the sound of a jet engine roaring nonstop in my ear 24/7! Nothing else works either? I am not complaining because it's better than the alternative! :nup:

Are you sure it's your birthday BB? Judging from that novel you just posted in another thread I would have to say that you appear to be stone sober at this point.

Todd,

How sober do you have to be to cut and past? To be honest I am drinking from a small glass today so I can drink more? Does that make sense? I have *four kegs tapped and I spent some birthday money (thanks mum) on a "mix your own" craft brew six pack at a liqueur store. Choices, choices. Stumble stumble. :drink:

edit: *five kegs, I forgot the "Imperial Honey Kolsch" Fermented with Kolsch yeast and than Champagne yeast after initial fermentation was done??

Thanks everyone for the birthday cheer! As my daughter said many years ago. "Your birthdays over daddy we don't have to be nice to you anymore" You will be relieved to know you don't have to be nice to me anymore. You can go back to your normal personalities?

I had a great day yesterday with the exception of the boring football game last night. I tasted many different beers but stayed reasonably sober enough to enjoy each and every one of them. Thanks again!

And today we have Lambert's birthday .

Hope you're having a fantastic birthday Bertie. Not sure why you have your birthday so close to Christmas and New Year's Eve . Maybe change it for next year?

Wishing you a great day and year mate :salute:  :drink:
