I am curious about the audience reaction to the BIAB talk. Skeptics? Converts?

Anything interesting in the fresh hops talk? A buddy here plans to plant some and I told him I'd help.

I'm glad you all made it home safe and sound.
The job done by Brad Smith was on the whole good for a 3V brewer. He had pictures and didn't say anything bad or wrong about it. Shibolet heckled him some and teased him a bit! Fun to watch. The crowd was not really full for my class and it seamed (from the question and answer portion) That most of the people were already BIAB. It was the first class of four simultaneous classes so people might have been at others saving BIAB for another day!

I can't remember much about the fresh hops seminar because I had been drinking in every class and he was serving beer too! Growing hops is fun because they grow so well at our latitude and they grow quickly.

Every seminar was recorded to be processed and put on the web. You would have to join the AHA to listen to them. The $35 US $44 international includes 10 Issues of Zymurgy magazine and the right to go to the NHC in 2013!

On the bus tour I was a minor celebrity because of the brewing on the ice video (polar brew 2011) and spent 20 minuets explaining how BIAB works. The "said" that they would go to the next BIAB seminar Saturday? I don't know if they did or not by Saturday in was in detox!

Nice pictures. If you look at what people are holding, the count of electronic devices exceeds the number of beers. What the heck!?

Not sure if people want to remain anonymous, but captions would be neat.

smyrnaquince,

Yes, We were in between parties and we could not bring beer into the lobby (high class joint) but being BIAB'ers do you think that there is coffee in the cups? The time differences made communicating with Israel a little difficult. Timing things for the ladies back home is all important (if you want to come back!??) I will add captions later when I get my stuff together. I have two hours of video I have to cut down to ten minutes! The boss must be satisfied so I have lots of yard work to do because I WANT TO GO BACK AGAIN!!!! It's fricken awesome!!

Great to hear you made it home Bob and that shib got out of jail .

You do realise there's about 40,000 photos in that link above? Where's the shortcut to the pics of shib late on Club night and of him heckling and of you getting your fingers trodden on?

I looked at those pictures trying to find us. I found me at the very end (work backwards) with the guys from Basic Brewing Radio. I have spent the last two hours wasting my time trying to copy the picture from Flickr. I have all of last weeks yard work to catch up on and of course the video's from the NHC and I am futzing around just because I am pissed about not knowing how to get a screenshot of a picture of me? I have screenshot programs but Flickr is using CSS style sheets to block copying? I have disabled the style sheets but no go.

I now have to take the grandson to the fireworks store to stock up on illegal fireworks for the 4th of July. there are not enough hours in the day to be wasting on the computer but "I love it so much"!

So many photos...

Love the beer goggles, but I thought it was the blokes who wear them, not the ladies.

Did I count 3 tri-corner hats? I thought they went out with button up boots.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster made an appearance as wall art :)

Lylo,

So I guess I should not tell you about the beautiful half naked women that said she would do whatever would please me? I just assumed she wanted to talk about beer so I talked about Hops. Shibolet talked about malty beers , I guess? They went back to his room to talk about it?

I expect to see you next year in "Philly" Start saving your pennies.

One other side note. The grand banquet was awesome. Not only did they pare beers with the meals. The meals were cooked with beer and hops. The beer was brewed especially for our meal and was endless. The chef, (The Home Brewed Chef "Sean Z. Paxton" ) Came around to visit some of the tables. Naturally one inebriated bloke (me) had to spoil the mood. "Sean I didn't get any ketchup on my table? " Apparently the Master Chef took offense? He burned a hole through my chest with his glare! The meal was to die for and I almost did?

I am trying to create an account for BIABrewer.info. Not sure how is is coming along but check out the test video of Noam and friends.

Just a bit of fluff but at least Noam can prove to his wife that he was there.

I hope you get the next week off work shib. Nice to hear you made it back in one piece :). Are you allowed back in the US?

I'd reprimand Bob about the naked pics he published of you in his Flickr link. I think they are somewhere between the 2000th and 37,000th photo .

Pro-night interviews on Basic Brewing Radio. http://youtu.be/FquM8MONMRE

Apparently we weren't considered pros because we did not get an interview? I have brewed 342 liters (90 gallons) since the first of the year. By the end of the year I may qualify as a pro? Or just a boozer?

I didn't get anymore done because the boss has me doing jobs getting ready for the 4th of July (Independence Day) I don't know if I will get any more for a week?

Lylo, Don't look! We had fun! Per-usual You can only hear my voice and slurred speech! It must have been a fault of the camera?

Listen to this. Literally.... http://youtu.be/nEezFgUfZCk

A beer club made this video and played it at the NHC. They had the booth that poured beer out of a guitar?
