My first BIAB was a success at this stage, I did however smash my hydrometer and knackered my digital thermometer.

Next brew us all weighted out, and ready to go.
Just need a new hydrometer and thermometer
Based on a Pendal Witch clone

Congrats DJSeaton, well done!

Good luck with the Pendle Witch clone too (mine is nearing the end of fermentation now).

I spent lots of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I squandered
I've stopped drinking, but only when I'm asleep
I ONCE gave up women and alcohol - it was the worst 20 minutes of my life

dj,

BIABrewer.info has, somehow, roped me into a very big project and this means I have to, a keep about a hundred things in my head here at once but you stick out. Did you see the post I wrote here to you? If not, can you read it and reply in that thread? Did it make sense?

My brain seems to always register unfinished business :P. I think that you and I have unfinished business in that thread. We do, don't we?

Much more importantly though is that this site is really all about education. It's not a 'normal' brewing site. There's probably two things I want to say...

1. This is just educational okay? The way you have published your recipe in your first post actually doesn't tell us much about the brew. We don't need to worry about this now and it's not important in this thread but the link above should help in future brews.

2. In another way, I really enjoy threads like yours. They show a willingness to just get in and do it.

Congrats on your first BIAB . Nice pics!.

:salute:

djseaton, I love this quote!

It’s just like that! It’s a fantastic hobby isn't it...much more exciting than collecting stamps. There's a lot of scope for imagination too.

You’ll make great beer with all that enthusiasm.
