First AG, first BIAB, first BIABACUS.

Did a Jamil amber ale on Sat through BIABacus. I'm very, very impressed.

I have spent many idle hours scrolling through the vast amounts of knowledge here in preperation for my first AG brew. And thankyou so much.
Even with 2 kids, a half hearted brother and a baby in tow, I managed to have a stress free brew day.

I no chilled in the kettle after 90-90 mash & boil with an 8L sparge for 30L in the FV all from an 40L Crown urn.

Hit my numbers so well I thought I had done something wrong. Who needs software when you have BIABacus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be a donor! as soon as I figure that bit out. Site takes a bit to get used too.

PP I would like to thank you personally for being a big influence on how well my first BIAB brew day has gone.

Again to the knowledge imparted for no return. Thankyou.

Congratulations and much appreciated Rusty :salute:. I haven't been much use for a while now but it is nice to see that some of what I and others have worked on or written has been of use.

As for the site, I and some others are trying to get more educated on the IT side of things so as info etc is not so difficult to find/navigate. Most forums are crap at that so hopefully we'll be able to implement some of the solutions we have in mind soon.

As for hitting the numbers, that is always fun but don't expect to hit them every time. Even commercial brewers can't do it without making adjustments on each batch.

I know the forum is pretty quiet atm but if you get a chance, please let us know how this brew goes and what it tastes like.
