Don't know if they will stand near boiling temperatures? Also, how are you going to seal the bottle? The nice bit of cubing is that the hot wort kill all the bugs in the cube and once you seal it no bugs can come in.

But they do make decent fermenters!

Just put the caps on! It was the temp that bothered me but the idea is they hold the same as a cornie so a double batch 38l would fill 2 kegs could use the same wort but experiment with different yeast,dry hoping,fruits etc.
The beer I had for breakfast was'nt bad so I had one more for dessert!

Good Day, The water chiller bottles(Better Bottles) are made from polyethene terephthalate (pet)and WILL NOT handle temperatures above 180F/85C.

Yeah iv got two full of lager at the moment. They also seem to go for a bit on ebay!
