Joco

Your skill is still there. The Packers failed to meet your expectations. It's their fault not yours! Next week you will do just fine. Hopefully with a Packer win? :idiot:

In reply to your wondering... probably not, but you are right, this does call for a homebrew (or 2).

I expect Lady Luck will be fickle all season.

I have a few things to say here....

Firstly, mally on 14 points. I can't believe that you have sunk so low as to give in to BobBrew's demands for sexual favours in return for high scores. I hope your Skype bill is horrendous .

Secondly, BobBrews on 9 points. I was wondering how long you would hold out before you started cooking the books Bob. One whole week . (Mind you, if we include last year, to be fair, it is actually one year and one week :P ).

I also blame you for my low score. That bloody red and green bar thing you posted a few posts ago, I thought it was your signature and those bars were the gravity to bitterness ratios of your beers on tap . If you had told me they were the football statistics, I would have probably read them and got 30 points or something.

Btw, have you died yet of CO2 poisoning from all those fermentors you were telling me about?

How dare you Mr. PP, I would never do such a thing (well this time anyway  ).

I was actually awarded extra points because I was guarding his daughters from you!!! :shoot:

Bob - on a more mundane note; 480 passing yards???!! is that normal?
Sounds like it would have been like watching volleyball or something

I spent lots of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I squandered
I've stopped drinking, but only when I'm asleep

mally, :champ:

480 yards passing was the all time record for the Packers. The game was a blow out! The Packers were up 31 to nothing or 31 to 7 before we put in the rookies for some experience. If we kept the first string players in we would have won 60 to nil! We call that "Garbage Time" The losing team puts up "cheap" points. The score then looks like a close game but in reality it was a ASS WHOOPING! I wish we could have saved a few points for this Sunday! It's more fun playing "Cheese" when the regular players are in and you can relay on your picks.

PP, :shoot:

Mally and I now have a "Close" relationship because of his protecting my daughters from your (Slick Auzzie Sweet Talking), and the 50 Euros he sent me helped his point total considerably! Keep that in mind? I may have to put a donation button on the "Cheese" website? When trivia comes up in April (or is it March?) My girls will be Skyping with you again! Be good! Now I have Mally to back me up when I am -off line- (sleeping)! I feel safer.

The four batches of beer have stopped bubbling but I expect the C02 still lingers in the low spots. I am going to brew again today! I am using up odd bags of various grains just to clean out my shelves.

My punch card at my local home brew supply shop is almost full and I will be buying a couple of fifty pound sacks of 2-row and Pilsner to carry me through the Winter! At 20% off I will save enough to buy something else to fill my shelves! :dunno:

Check it out!

I've just spent the whole day doing my picks and the whole week trying to think up a witty reply to mally and Bob. I got my picks done and am pretty confident I will beat them both but, as for the wit, it's a total fail from me. They win for sure .

PP :dunno:

(Bob, your girls and I feel that once a year is not enough contact time and would like to be allowed to Skype during Packers games as well as Trivia. Count yourself lucky that, in this modern day and age, I am even bothering to ask your permission.)

I am happy that you got your picks in and you don't have worry about "Your wit's failing you" Your half way there I am sure! I have a feeling your going to rule "Cheese" this Sunday!

My girls get together for Trivia once a year! We Never meet for a Packer game. I must have peace and quiet with no distractions. I am a football purest. I am also a grumpy old man (if) the Packers lose! Trivia will be here soon enough. They will be asking for you and your brilliant answers.

Thanks again for giving up your time and cash to make BIAB better. It's a little confusing with all the topics appearing on my "View unread posts" link. Is there a way to make all topics look read? So I can start fresh?

The last thing the girls and I want is to disturb you during a Packer's game so that is fine by us that you are unable to join in our future PAcker Skype sessions. Thanks for giving us the okay. Can't wait to get it organised  ;) :drink:

I normally just use the 'View active topics' button.

As for re-setting 'View unread posts', here you go...

1. Click on he main page of BIABrewer.info
2. See all the 'Who is online' stuff?
3. Go under that and you will see 'Legend:'
4. Look at the next line but to the far right, just above all the forums and you will see...

"Mark forums read"

(Good question Bob as I had never even noticed that :smoke:)

Players, It was a monumental game and the Packers lost in the last seconds. More players were hurt and skulking around the sidelines than were on the field!

Last week was record breaker for the Packers. This week was a record breaker for lost chances. :idiot:

I should have won for the sole reason it took 24 hours to write the algorithms for my 7 point score but the algorithm I was writing was actually for a Viagra website that has nothing to do with brewing :dunno:.

Anyway, I am very glad I won. Thank you. I'll try and 'keep it up' as it were.

Good on me ,

You better "keep it up" if your re-writing the formula for Viagra! Please send me some free samples! I need it badly!

Congrats on your big win last Sunday! :champ: We are playing a different game this week because of the BYE week. (a week off) It is very early this year but we need it desperately to get are injured players back!

Commiserations to Yeasty. The poor bugger had his computer blow up and so has spent the last two weeks trying to sort that out. He reckons he'll be back next week to, and I quote, "kick our ass's." I don't even own an ass .

Anyway, good luck Yeasty ;).

It looks like the new players this season didn't take Bob's bait. Bob always gives you high scores in your first few weeks and then you get the email saying, "Send me money and I can keep making that happen for you."

Did you guys not send the money?
