The Packers won their first game in 6 tries. Matt Flynn played a decent game and moved the Packers just enough to win. Who needs Aaron Rodgers? Ah, We do!

During the game They never credited the Packers with a sack. But the box score showed Mike Neal was credited with 1. I checked a second stats site and they credited Neal with one so he is the man.

We are now 1/2 game out of first place because Detroit lost today in a snowstorm.

A good result for the Packers... back to winning ways!

A good day for the Aussies, a bad for for the Poms.

First an Aussie beats a Pom in the Snooker.

Then a bunch of Aussies thrash a bunch of Poms in the cricket.

Finally an Aussie pulls ahead in Cheese!

Where will this end :?:

For those of you who actually try?
weekly_game.png
This is some of the stats to view before making your educated guesses in cheese. If I score well this week I will start my charge to the top! If not I will start next week for sure. Only three games left in the regular season. The Playoffs will start soon. Remember (after I win) the other winners must have their mailing addresses filled out so I can get the prizes mailed out after the super bowl.

Also just for laughs. Out of 1,042 players in the quick pick challenge. I am in 6th place! I can't beat a bunch of inebriated homebrewers who never saw a American football team play. But I can rank pretty well with a bunch of experienced fantasy football players? Go Figure? Wish me luck!

P.S. I brewed a beer called "Pirates Plunder" on (teach a friend to home brew day). I have been "testing" it all morning..... Good stuff!!!!

Fellow Cheese fans

I've just found out that Superbowl this year is the first Sunday of February 2014 and I was thinking would anyone be interested in a celebratory brew for the occasion?

If someone has a suitable recipe that would be fitting for this we could all brew the same beer and have a global drink to toast kickoff.

What do people think?

Players,

The Packers are still mum on who will start at quarterback. Aaron has been practicing with the number 1 offense. He is still not medically cleared to play by the team physician. The Dallas Cowboys are a team with bad defense and a good offense. The Packers have averaged 17 points a game without Aaron Rodgers. :nup: We averaged 32 a game with him :salute: . Get your picks in Now!

I am brewing a sweet stout Monday for a competition in March. But I don't know what I would brew for the Superbowl? It can't be a long duration beer. Times short.

I am going to really start showing you guys what a genious, geeneeus, gekneeus, Ah... smart guy I am. I will probably max out at 30 points? :smoke:

Good luck (you will need it) :luck:

Do we have to brew it on Superbowl day or can we brew it before and then drink it on SuperBowl day? (Be interesting for me either way as that will be a Monday here - lol!)

Players,

The Packers Play the Dallas Cowboys Sunday December 15th 3:35 PM (Tomorrow) Make you PICKS!

The championship game (the Superbowl) is being played on February 2nd 2013. It will be broadcast world wide and we all should be able to see it. (I am not saying "Understanding it") Obviously the time difference may be a bit out of whack for some of you? Here is what I am suggesting. We find some place or time in the game and we all raise a glass of homebrew and drink together :drink: to honor all the players in "Cheese"! Of course by then I will be the winner :smoke:.

We can still play "Cheese" without the Packers. I will find a way to adjust the program. I don't think we have enough time this year to all brew the "same beer and drink it together"? That is something we can try next year? Maybe there is enough time but we may not have enough time to debate and agree on one style or common recipe? That would be cool though! :yum:

http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture It's a little hard to follow this page unless your "into it" It's elimination until the last team in each conference is left.

That's a date for next year Bob. It will have to be an American style so get your thinking caps on guys.

Players,

The Packers were absolutely horrible in the first half. The Cowboys set their all time record for offense and the Packers were an embarrassment. The halftime score was Cowboys 26 to Green Bay Packers 3. The second half was the complete reversal and the Packers came back in a thrilling victory! Packers win 37 to 36. We are still alive.

Congratulations PP :shoot: You are the "Best" football prognosticator. You set a record for our lowly group of brewers! I stand in your mighty shadow!

I have no idea what to say about this :nup:. I mean seeing as I know absolutely nothing of the game, maybe I should be apologising? :P I am learning something though. This morning I didn't know what a prognosticator was but now I do :).

If I do win this year Bob, at least you'll be able to advertise Cheesetradamus 2014 as, "Most easily played by people with absolutely no skill." Then again, there won't be a Cheese 14 in that case because you'll be back working full-time paying off the Winnebago you had to ship to Australia :interesting:.

...

Yeah, what is this record thing Bob? I'm definitely not the first to be overall winner in a week. I think mally and Joco have both done that haven't they .

...

Couldn't believe that final score. I saw the three points at half time as I left for work this morning .

Next week the Packers Play Sunday at 3:25 PM. So you, (and all others) have time to send a check or money order to me. I no longer have any pride or any sense of dignity. So greed will have to do! At least I have PP's address so I can send him his prize (IF) he wins? Got to go. A quick note here while I am still working. (PC) wise. This Sunday is the second last week of the regular (none elimination playoffs) season. It does make sense Richard but I can't tell you what a PITA it is having to stay awake 24 hours straight just to get the result. Surely, there must be another way .

And, if staying awake once a week for 24 hours isn't enough, I have also sent Bob the endless cash, week after week. Will it ever end?

Take it from me PP it is worth it.
As the reigning champ I can tell you that the pleasure of driving that Winny through the Rockie Mountains with a pint of bitter in my hand and a full kegerator in the back, makes all the time and graft paid well worth it.
P.S. Don't think for a minute that I we are conceding your victory just yet!!

PP,

It will end sooner than you think. Our Quarterback is not playing AGAIN and the season will soon be over!

P.S. :shoot: Thanks for the bribe money. I used it to buy your prize when you win! Lylo has been slow with the payments so you are way ahead.

Tomorrow is the second last game in the regular season. Lets hope for a win. :luck:

Get your picks done! :shoot: You will fall asleep and get no points! :idiot:
