The Packers offense was unstoppable and in fact never failed to score when they had the ball until a blocked field goal in the closing minutes. In fact this was only the second game in NFL history without a punt! The Packers beat the Bears 38 to 17. Th Packers running game was abysmal and you can expect the teams coming up were taking notes. The Packers run stopping was also abysmal. The next game is

The Green Bay Packers were almost flawless and the Vikings were pretty much clueless. The Packers won 42 to 10 and the 10 were a gift because the Pack put in the second team to not, “rub it in” The rain was not as bad as predicted and the Vikings were not as good as predicted. Aaron was pulled in the fourth quarter with 3 touchdowns thrown and his 200th TD pass passes. The next game will be in 10 days against the Miami Dolphins in Miami. Next game is Sunday October 12 :luck:

My picks are on, fingers crossed I can up my game this week.

I'd also like to refloat an idea from last year, a joint cheese brew!

If anyone is interested let us know by posting in this thread and we can then take the idea further.

The goal is to all have a pint of the same beer on Superbowl Sunday. Maybe a recipe from Head Cheese Bob or reigning cheese PP.

The Packers scored with 3 seconds left in the game to win 27 to 24. I must admit that I gave up after the field goal was kicked. With both CB's out I expected Miami to move down the field and use up the clock! The defense stood them up and the Mighty Packers came back from the dead! Aaron Rodgers came close to losing his 4th game “down South” but he willed us to a win! :thumbs:

Cam Newton coming to town Bob... hopefully the Pack can do more to stop him than they did against Russell Wilson in week 1. Similar style QBs. Could be a long day with both Williams and Shields out though, eh?

The Packers have transitionally had trouble containing running quarterbacks, Kapernick, Wilson, Newton. I don't suspect that will change because we have the same defensive coordinator Dom Capers. Williams might still play because he just has a sprained ankle and he has only missed one game in his whole career (including practices!) Our backup's could start for any team so we are fairly safe.

The Packer won 38 – 17. The game wasn't as close as the score indicates. The Panthers points came mostly in junk time with the Packers second string players playing. The Packers were almost flawless at home. Next week we travel to New Orleans to face the Saints who are tough at home. The next game is Sunday October 26th at 7:30 PM Go Pack Go! :clap:

Tough luck! Since when is any type of work more important than football?? :?: I should have checked to see if you were in and prompted you or used the averages to fill it in? Maybe next year I will have a check box that will use the Joe Average picks if you forget? :?: I think I may have scored 1 point so you didn't lose much ground to me! :blush:

Better luck next time. Sorry about the truck! I make my picks right away and change them later in the week if need be. (and it be) Just to prevent boo boo's.
