All the best for 2014.

Post #1 made 12 years ago
On behalf of the founders, BIABrewer would like to wish all the members here the very best for 2014.

Many thanks to you for making BIABrewer.info a most helpful and friendly forum with the highest quality information. Special thanks to those of you who spend so much time answering questions on the forum. The more members who can do this, the sooner we will be able to bring you new information in a new structure.

Finally, thank you to The Team, many of whom contribute here continually with no public recognition.

:salute:

Meant to post here for last few days but got a little lost in answering questions - again  :).

I'm going to write a more official post in this thread in the next day or two under a different name. For now though, I'd like to thank...

1. The Regulars - You guys set the tone of the forum and it plays a very nice note ;).

2. The Educators - A few of you here take on the very time-consuming task of writing detailed answers to questions. I know that a single answer can sometimes take an hour or more to write and that the recipient of your time will have no idea how long you have actually spent on them. Every question you take on is a donation of time that is the most valuable donation you can give here. I just hope that you find the questions as interesting and challenging as I do.

3. The New Brewers/Members - I love your enthusiasm. It is always a refreshment, even better than beer. Your questions, even ones you think are very basic, always make me think. It's truly amazing all the different circumstances/equipment/knowledge a brewer can have and how hard it can be to come up with a generic answer.

I hope that any long and detailed answers that I or others have given here, have been, more often than not, helpful and informative rather than boring/detracting. It is a very hard line to tread. One thing is for sure though (and I doubt most new brewers would be able to see this), the information given on this site to an individual is very compact. In one long post here, I believe, you will gain far more distilled information, knowledge and personal consideration than reading two hundred short (and sometimes long) posts on other forums.

Wishing everyone a fantastic new year :peace:  :drink: ;),
