Thanks for the heads up Sig .

I enjoyed watching that... I need to watch it again as I was watching whilst trying to bring my main computer to life

I think they did a great job except that they scored a low efficiency. This would have almost certainly been due to the small bag used.

The other thing I heard was something about brew day time being increased??? What was that bit? (I probably mis-heard it :dunno:)
If you have found the above or anything else of value on BIABrewer.info, consider supporting us by getting some BIPs!

I noticed that too. My impression is that he normally brews extract, so BIAB adds 1 hour to his normal extract brew day. But he talks enough throughout the rest of the video about the time savings that I don't think too many people will get confused.

Good Day, If I heard him correctly, He started to heat the kettle to strike temperature and put his little boy to bed, then did some other things and then added the grain... He must have a bit to small heat output on his stove.

Brewing TV featuring BIAB

Post #5 made 14 years ago
I'm following that webshow since its beginning. Crazy Yanks:) Just all'ya- subscribe and watch all episodes. They're funny and very informative. I'm in almost the same situation as that dude -Jake. Small kid running around ( no more no less like Tasmanian Devil) could mean troubles during full blown AG brewday. BIAB seems 2b perfect solution!

And yeah, I've left some comments there too :).

The preview for tomorrow's episode appears to show Jake brewing extract inside, Dawson BIAB outside. I liked the BIAB episode, but didn't like that the made it seem to have so many limitations. The small bag was clearly an issue. Hopefully this week (if the preview showed an accurate picture) will be better.
