First Brew - Just checking everything

Post #1 made 11 years ago
Hello All,

I am hoping that I will be able to brew my first Mini BIAB brew (also first all grain brew) at the weekend. I am very excited. I have a recipe that was recommended by Dski from Brisbane in reply to a question that I posted. I have few ingredients available locally so it was based on what I could get.

I have put the recipe into the rather brilliant spreadsheet (how comes it is free?) and the output is below and the file attached. If anyone has the time to take a look and check it is all OK that would be most appreciated.

The only other bits I need to sort out is a bag, quite important, but as its small it will probably just be a square of voile, I also need to sterilize the digital thermometer probe a few more times as it was given to me by our vet and was last seen taking the temperature of a large sheep.

Really looking forward to brewing particularly on such a small scale. Hoping it becomes a time to relax each week.

Thanks for any help

Graham

Looks good to me no-more-peroni, in fact there will possibly be "no more Peroni"

As it is your first, expect some mistakes & forgotten bits & pieces.
Make notes (strike temp doesn't show on recipe reports) so note that down before you turn your PC off!

Good luck

Even with a few minor mishaps, you can still end up with a decent beer!
