Morning all,
I'm looking for some suggested recipes from the ingredients I have in stock.
I have:
Maris otter ebc 4
Crystal malt ebc 150
Chocolate malt ebc 1060
Black malt ebc 1280
Challenger AA% 8.2
Ekg AA% 5.7
Fuggles AA% 4.1
Looking for British ales something along the lines of old speckled hen, fullers esb, 49er etc. Bit of colour, bit of bitterness but not too floral, abv above 4.5%.
Struggling to find a recipe that doesn't require a strong bittering hop. Am I correct in thinking that a small amount of black malt will give it a red hue?
Thanks in advance!
