The best way to calculate recipes Is with the BIABacus.

If you dont know what it is, its an awesome tool for calculating recipes. You can find the free download here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1869 Its essentially an Excel spreadsheet you can open in open office or Libre office and it dose all the hard work for you and estimates stuff extremely well.
Not going to lie, this sheet kind of confused me. I seems I still need to enter mash time, beginning water volume, etc... Is this correct.

Its a little confusing at first but stick with it.

Most important thing is to fill in your kettle size, what you want your OG to be and what you want the volume into fermenter to be.

after adding your grains, the water will be calculated for you. TWN (total water needed) is how much you need to start with.

90min mash and 90 min boil is recommended with BIAB.

plus all you need to do to scale a recipe is input the recipe and change the desired volume into fermenter field and everything is calculated for you.

Maybe you should input a recipe and then post your file on this thread http://www.biabrewer.info/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=286 to make sure it all looks correct and answer any more questions you may have?
