Shibolet,

Thanks for the kind words on my Black IPA. We had a good time! They couldn't find any difference in our no chilled beers and "old fashioned" Immersion chilled beers. What a shock?? Shahar is just another convert! I think James is going to try no chill. I sent him links to find the equipment. I will download your pdf and add your "Brown Amber ale? to my list of "too brew".
tap 1 Raspberry wine
tap 2 Bourbon Barrel Porter
tap 3 Czech Pilsner
tap 4 Triple IPA 11% ABV

Pipeline: Mulled Cider 10% ABV

Bob, Shibolet, and Shahar,
I really enjoyed listening to you guys on the BB podcast!

Bob, Can you share the link to the place you bought your plastic containers? Also, maybe I missed it in the podcast, but do you let the wort cool at any particular temperature? I assume you don't put it in the refrigerator at any time. Just leave it sit in the basement at 70-ish (deg F)?

Thanks.

MMD21,

Glad you liked the podcast. Here is a link for a 6 gallon no chill. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.a ... &catid=459 here is more choices http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.a ... d=redirect

I just let the N/C cool down and siphon (or pour) when needed? In the summer I leave it in the garage to cool overnight. In the winter I bring it in the house and place it on a brick to cool and heat the house! When I need it I use it. That simple! I sometimes put my starter and N/C next to each other to equalize to a 70'ish temperature?
