boiling trouble

im currently into my first brew ive done the grain bit ,ive got an old calour burner been two hours trying to get wort to boil its about 90 degrees now i dont want to waste a brew how can i get it to frigging boil lol any tips?? i will buy new burner straight after

marvel, keep the lid on until you get to the boil and float a stainless steel bowl on top of the wort to reduce the surface area. I'm not sure if either of these will help you reach the boil any faster but floating the bowl will certainly help increase the boil vigour.

Also, perhaps put something on top of the lid to help prevent heat loss from there.
