Gday BIABers,
I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Been brewing for around 9 years. Started off with Extract Kits, moved onto stovetop partials and now brewing all grain.
First all grain brews were done on a Braumeister and am currently finishing my own gas BIAB setup. I decided upon BIAB after seeing it done in person and was amazed at the simplicity over 3V setups I'd seen previously. Then heard about this site while listening to Basic Brewing Radio interview.
Looking forward to using the BIABacus and calibrating it to my system over time.

Hi,
I'm from Alberta Canada, I've made a few dozen extract brews over the last few years. I found this site from the Brew in a Bag site. BIAB is my first step to an electric brewery.

I currently live in Lodi, CA in the U.S.A.
I found this site while searching for ways to dial in my BIAB process.
The site appears to have a lot of information, but a bit more locked down than I'm used to.
Today will be my fifth brew session. I was given a Mr. Beer kit and those two extract batches were the first bear I've ever brewed (they are still bottle conditioning). I've brewed two BIAB batches and will be doing my third this afternoon. I've also brewed cider, wine and mead in the past.
I am currently between jobs and as such I am taking care of my son fill time.

Agent21, Have you hit 20C out there in the prairies yet? I'm in a Toronto suburb, so we've already had a few warm days. Welcome to the forum. No better place on Earth to find out about BIAB, as long as someone other than me answers your questions.
manglin, Well, I guess you Americans are welcome too! The site has some features that might not be accessible until you make a first post. You have done that now, so you should get access when the forum moderators see that you are not a spam bot. No hard feelings about 1812, Honest. P.S. I'm gonna hate you when winter rolls around....
Cheers.

Hey there, I'm a brewer from the central valley in California. I've been brewing off and on with some friends for the past 7 years, just recently got some equipment of my own and decided to try my hand at BIAB. I've got one BIAB brew under my belt and I'm hoping to find ways to make my next one even better.

Hi there,
My name's Simon, I'm living in Switzerland and a big beer lover.
Never brewed before, looking to start now, small to begin with of course but hopefully getting bigger.
Was searching for ways to start small, and BIAB keeps being mentioned so that's how I found the site...some really amazing info here, I've learned lots already.
Now I just need to do some more research on exactly what I need to start brewing...given constraints like space (smallish apartment), cost (2 young kids), time (see previous answer), and an induction cooker. I'm hoping I can find a way to start on the stove for now, so small BIAB (5-10L) is what I am really looking for right now.
Looking forward to chatting with people, and probably asking lots of questions.
Cheers !!

Welcome mtosic77
All the help you could possibly need is here. Take a look at the biabacus and try to fill it out. We can look at the file and make sure you have the best start to your brewday.
Prost!

Welcome blueandwhite, You posted in the same minute that I did, so your post almost got missed. How's the chocolate in you neck of the woods? As good as the beer I hope. You can't go wrong with BIAB, as long as you follow the basics. Study and learn, if you have questions, ask and someone will answer. Nothing wrong with starting small. Everybody starts smaller than they end up.

Hey all
From New Zealand
Been Kit and Kilo for awhile now but gearing up for BIAB
I calibrate temp and pressure instruments
Found this Via homebrewtalk
Have already collected lots of gear so far including ferment chamber with full temp control, Full temp controlled kegging setup so natural progression is to try a grain brew via BIAB....
Cant wait to cut my teeth on a grain brew

mtirkiesh,
Welcome to the obsession! BIAB is as addictive as cocaine but legal. Your friends will be closer as well as family. There is nothing as nice as a home brewer!

What a wonderful place to be! I've already found great answers to more questions in here than by googling...
I'm a new brewer, only tried it once, with extract only (Munton's Smugglers Special + safale S-04), which turned out pretty well. It was fun, but, if I may say so, a little boring. So as I'm running out of beer, I'm turning to biab brewing, and I'm almost ready to go. This place will push me over the starting line!
Cheers,
Tristan

Hello all - I've been all-grain homebrewing for 15 years the "traditional" way and have finally seen the light with BIAB. My homebrewing life is set to become far more simple now. I've found this really is THE site for BIAB knowledge/resources.
Cheers,
