Welcome! Another Wisconsinite here. Too bad the weather won't be better tomorrow (windy in the northland) but good luck with your brew. Lots of good information here and the Biabacus is awesome. It also provides ample opportunity to brush up on your metric system...

First of all excuse my poor english.
I live in France, 30km from Paris.
I am 62 years old. Chemist and will be retired in December 2014.
I have never brewed ... But have red a lot, thank you for sharing your knowledge on this forum.
Biab (on a small scale ) seems in my case a good way to go to all grain brewing.

I've been extract/partial mash brewing on and off for 15 years. I'm currently finishing my basement with a bar, and later this year a dedicated brewing area. I'm really looking forward to setting up an eBIAB system. I'm sure to have many questions once started.

Hi there
My first post on this great site. I live in Central Otago, New Zealand. Got into brewing after sampling some great beers over in Europe. Jumped into BIAB pretty quickly, loved the idea of making authentic beer, with minimal equipment requirements. Been doing this for about 2 years, and havent looked back. I Use a 100 L pot, on a stand with a 3 ring burner, usually do 50 litre batches.

I look forward to soaking up the information on this site, and hopefully passing on some helpful advice.

Cheers!

Hi everyone. From Maryland, USA. Started out with extracts and after a few batches, felt like beer was just ok. Found this site and gave BIAB a try. Brewed my first BIAB batch over Christmas and it turned out amazing. Had a baby shortly after so brewing has been on hold, but I'm ready to jump in again. Been lurking for a while and learn something new every time I'm on here. Thanks for all the great information.

Hello everyone.
I'm from brazil and so far have done about 7 batches in miniBIAB (1 gallon), 3 of them turned out total crap LOL.

Now I'm swithcing to an electric 5 gallon (20 liters) BIAB. After an failed attemp, this weekend will make our first batch in the new equipment, an APA that we've made twice in the miniBIAB.

I'm learning a lot here and want to congratulate the team that developed BIABacus, that thing is awsome!

Hello all,

Just starting home brew in Denver with my third batch in the 1 gallon fermentor.
Still tweaking equipment and now recipes.

Lots to learn and ways to sink more time on the hobby instead of work.

Cheers

Hello fellow homebrewers. I am a homebrewer from Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been brewing for about 6 years and started BIAB about 2 years ago. I found this forum by doing a search on BIAB for general info. I work full time and have a family and find that the BIAB method is a time saver for me, especially when it comes to cleanup time. After reading about it a few years ago BIAB was a no-brainer since I already had the equipment.

I look forward to finally getting involved in this forum since I have been reading it for a while now.

So, hi...

Long time watcher, first time poster... I'm intent on trying to do my first brew in two days... Kinda psyched.
I'm from Louisiana, and I was attracted to the simplicity of the biab process. We'll see if that pays off soon. Looking forward to learning as much as I can.

Hello from Nova Scotia. I've been brewing for a few years now all-grain since my 3rd batch. I have a large system that I'm looking to scale down to BIAB due to time and space constraints. I was guided here by a random internet search for BIAB and I've been creeping about before posting. Looking to absorb more info before ripping off my first BIAB batch. Brew On!
