MS,

I saw that BobBrews was from Central WI and watched the video he posted about brewing on a lake. If I didn't have to empty a bourbon barrel full of Belgian Dark Strong this Saturday ;), it would have been a nice ride up to Sunset Lake; we camp near there twice a year (Collins Park). In fact, I was just up in Amherst recently for Central Waters Brewery's 16 release.

Thanks for the heads up on his videos!

Hello everyone, glad to be joining what appears to be a great helpful community :)

I'm from Victoria, BC up in Canada.
I'm extremely new to brewing (I only have 1, no boil, brewhouse kit under my belt) and I stumbled across the site through other forums.
Doing the kit got me beer but it really didn't feel "right" so I'd like to get into BIAB and have some real fun.

I'm building my setup now but already have some hand me down pieces from friends and family.

Be interested to hear from anyone else in the city of Victoria :)

Hello BIAB forum! Name is Don, Im from southern california, Ontario to be exact. I love this site so far! so much info! I recently started brewing with my uncle, did one extract brew and one BIAB brew, BIAB has my heart! so easy! and so tasty! Im here to learn and discuss more. Currently I have a 80quart concord tri-ply pot, with 3 piece vavle, elbow, whole 9 yards. My attempt at re-creating a blichman (sp?) boilermaker. I have a DIY counter-flow chiller i made, and march pump to get the job done. I spent a decent amount of $$$ on the setup but i do not like cutting corners :)

Im a college Senior at Cal Poly Pomona, And a Production manager at Image Dynamics USA, a car audio company. I look forward to all the discussions and learning to be had!

Hi,

I live in Canada and am new to home brewing, with only a few partial extract brews under my belt. Have been enjoying the learning process, and would like to start doing BIAB. Heard about this site from a podcast interview with Pat Hollingdale. Can't wait to get set up and start BIAB'ing :)

Cheers

Post #4592 made 11 years ago
Welcome BDP! I think there might be another brewer or two from Canada here. Get your stuff set up and get brewing, if you have any questions we're here to help.

That name, Pat Hollingdale, it sounds familiar.....where have I heard that before?

Howdy all !
Im in Spring Texas, that means I live under the approach for Houston's biggest airport and listen to jets take off most of the day. I found the site by way of the Google. Great site mr webmaster !

Im just getting started in BIAB and I do video promotion and also like to put them on YTube. I have 2 brews under my belt. Both are sitting in primary letting the yeasties eat. my first brew was an Imperial stout and the second is an English Bitters. Im either semi-retired or very lazy, cannot figure out which. I need to make money to live so...yeah Im working some.

I shall have some videos to share of my brewing exploits and share my sucesses and my failures. I hope to ask a lot of questions as I learn this hobby / craft

Hello All, I am really new to Home brewing. So new, i am going to embark on my first BIAB this week. Have made 5 Mr. Beers and 2 full size, 5 gallon extract w/grain so far.
I am from Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania.
I am a perfectionist and that gets me into trouble because i read everything and want to know it all before i start something but i am finding out it is not so easy knowing it all when i am brewing because from what I have read so far, there are many different answers for every 1 question I have. Well, for some reason i decided not to make that the case here. I want to do trial and error. Then I'll ask the questions. I love beer, not as much as my wife but it is my second love.

Hello fellow brewers,

Im from Buffalo Ny,USA. I've been brewing for about 5 years extract then to all grain. I looked into (& purchased) an electric biab set up because I love the idea of one vessel brewing, seems to have multiple advantages. And chose to ho electric to help hit numbers more accurately and most important to brew indoors. As of yet have not yet use my system but plan to two days from this post . I came acrosss this site I believe on homebrew talk forum . I was searching water equations or something like that and led me here . Cheer!

Hello all,

Greetings from Essex in the UK. I've brewed about 7 or 8 beer kits (with good results) and 2 stouts using malt extract and various grains (with great results!). I'm now looking to move into BIAB as space is at a premium....until the kids outgrow the monster trampoline in the garden and I can use the space to put up a brew shed :-)

Found my way here from a link on Home Brew Forum.

Cheers!

Welcome all!

beeeeeerman and ASCbrewery0913: sounds like you two might be neighbors?

steve2u42: being a perfectionist is OK as long as you eventually stop researching and start brewing (your wife loves beer more than you do?)

johnnyreverse: right down the Thruway from me (Rochester)! I'm an electric brewer too.

The_Loon: get rid of the trampoline, build the shed, and get the kids interested in helping you brew
