Hello Everyone,
I've been brewing with three vessel electric systems in the UK for many years, but now I'm going to try Gas BIAB; BIABrewer seems like the place to be!
I've only Brewed In Bags on a very small scale before, mainly just making wort for starters, so I'm looking forward to doing it properly. Exciting times
Cheers,
Kev

Hey all, I'm from NZ and have completed two BIAB sessions so far with moderate success and lots of learning on the job! No amount of reading seems to prepare you for the unknown variables of a newbie working from theory.
Have a keg setup also to ensure quickest turn around, too many brews on my mind.
Liking BIAB for my scale and learning curves, look forward to learning more from within the forum.
Cheers,
Michael.

Hi guys,
I'm from Spain and I started recently to brew my own beer. I have done 3 different beers. I'm really excited to learn a lot from the forum and I pretty sure that I can help in some topics as well.
I'm electrical engineer so I can help with any electronic or electrical question related with the equipment or intrumental.
See you in threads

Hi,
Been brewing for 2 years now, mostly extract with specialty grains. Tried one AG method with a cooler MT and enjoyed it. Stumbled upon BIAB through a friend and the simpler equipment and shorter times than AG caught my attention. I've bought a larger BK and bag. Now just trying to figure out what is going to be my first recipe.

Hi y'all. Coming to you from the Ozarks of Missouri, USA. Have brewed extract for many years. Started in the 60'sk,prior to being legal in U.S. Quit doing so for along time until late '70s. Moved to Mo. 4years ago and started again.Have taken an interest in distilling after the Japanese bought Jim Beam company. Just bought two all grain kits, discovered that the double IPA kit uses more grain than my mash tun will hold, so decided to give BIAB a trial. Looks like a lot of good information here.

Hello everyone!
I'm a BIAB-brewer from the Swedish west coast.
Stumbled across this site in the hunt for a good biab friendly software.
Would love to try out the BIABAcus, wich have got good reviews on the Swedish brew forums.
However, this site seems to be a perfect place for information and discussion about the best brewing technique - BIAB.
Cheers!

I am from Southeast Indiana in the United States and have brewed both extract and all grain. I am interested in the BIAB concept and want to give it a try to hopefully simplify my brew day. Looking forward to learning here and contributing in the future.

Hello, I am from NZ and new to BIAB, having dabbled in kit home brewing on and off over the last few years. I am mostly interested in BIAB as I would like to brew in much smaller batches with a lot more customisation. I am also thinking about growing and malting my own grains too, and hops if I can source any plants/seeds or whatever they are called.
Thanks for the wealth of information!
Nathan

Welcome all. Everything is here to brew a perfect BIAB batch of beer. You can look for and you will find information that is BIAB orientated on the web. But this is the headquarters for the world's factual BIAB knowledge. BIABacus is the best tool for brewing beer, and free!

Hi all
I'm a brand new brewer from Finland. Vantaa, to be exact, that's practically the same as Helsinki.
I haven't brewed anything ever, yet. I've been going through all the info I can find, and reading "How to brew". BIAB caught my eye as something reasonably low-stress, and with less money needed for the equipment.
I have a 50 liter kettle made by a welder friend. It needs to be heated with gas because the bottom is rounded, the whole thing sits on little "legs". All other equipment I'm still to order from somewhere, I think I'll be reading through this site before that.
OK, looking forward to learning more about this BIAB- stuff, and getting to know you all.

Hello all,
I've been brewing with 5-gallon mini-mash extract kits for the past year and a half. I've recently purchased a larger kettle with the intention of doing all grain BIAB batches.
I've been going through the various intro posts and this site seems like a wealth of information and I'm looking forward to learning more as I go and experimenting with recipes.
Thank you!

splitpea,
welcome. Your are in the right place for ( Soup to Nuts ) coverage of BIAB. Maybe a "split pea soup" beer is in the forecast? Green with hops??? It looks that way anyhow?
