G'day,
I'm from Central Queensland in Australia. Googled BIAB and found this site. I've been brewing partial stove top brews constantly for the past 4 years. I crafted my 1st full volume, all grain, BIAB brew 2 weeks ago and since then, have crafted 2 others. AHB site, JP's How to Brew book has offered me the most info so far. I'm hoping BIABrewer can offer even more.
Peace.
Jolly

Jolly Brewer,
Welcome to the site. I am only 4 BIAB brews in but have found this site the most useful resource out there, full of very knowledgeable people and a very useful tool call the BIABacus.
Fire away with questions and you will learn plenty...
All the best
Tim

Hello, I'm from Melbourne. Just got into brewing and have a chocolate stout and American Amber ale fermenting at the moment. I brewed some terrible corona clones from cans when I was a teenager and gave up after a few goes. I only recently became aware of how much home brewing has changed. I've been working in the liquor industry and hospitality for the past fifteen years and love high gravity, unique, creative beers. I've been really digging reading sam calagiones extreme brewing at the moment. Super excited about BIAB and look forward to using the site.

Hi,
I am living in Ottawa ON.
I found this site when reading some posts on homebrewtalk.com
I used to brew back in the late 80s but out of kits I would get at the grocery store. I think they might have been John Adams or something like that. A can of tar you had boiling water to, throw in some yeast, bottle and enjoy. I wasn't looking for quality, mostly quantity and the stagger ability of my brew. I did about 4 batches of which 2 turned out. Having viable yeast and sanitizing everything were just suggestions right?
At Christmas time I was at a friends place who had 4 brews in his keezer. I became fascinated with what he was doing so started my research. I started reading up on the AG method and then stumbled across and article on BIAB. I was hooked.
I made my first batch 3 weeks ago, a Mill Street Tankhouse Clone. It is still in the bottles in my basement and I can't wait to try one.
I know it is going to be lacking but I have since learned the mistakes I made. I have another AG kit on order which I will brew the first week of August.
I love the site. The more info the better.
Thanks

Welcome Mike,
There are a few brewers on the site from Ottawa: http://www.biabrewer.info/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=273
Tankhouse is great! I'm guessing you got the kit from beergrains?

Welcome brouwer,
I followed a very similar path when I began brewing. BIAB is where it's at! All the cool kids are doing it. If I can do it then anyone can.

Hi, I'm Ryan. I live in NorCal and have a couple of extract brews done. Drinking a kit Irish Red Ale my wife and I made a few weeks ago right now.
Just purchased the rest of the goodies for a single vessel, RIM BIAB setup. So excited!
I've been doing a bunch of research on AG and BIAB, and it's really fascinating stuff. Super cool. I love the chemistry behind it all...
Anyway, it's been fun thus far, and I'm really looking forward to our first AG brew!

Hi all,
I am from Christchurch NZ, and I came across this site from a link on one of the supply websites. So far things are looking good and the calculator looks really handy. I am very new to brewing and I have only started 6 months ago. I am looking to get away from kits and do some grain brewing. I do work so the brewing like most I am sure is a weekend hobby.

Welcome Tenex66,
Are you using the Calculator or the BIABacus? The BIABacus is newer and has some improvements. You can find the current version in the first post in this thread: http://www.biabrewer.info/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1869

Hi everyone, I'm Lisa from CT in the US. I'm excited to be part of this great new hobby. I just started brewing in January 2014. I love it an I'm anxious to move from extract to all grain brewing. I recently brewed my first BIAB. A black IPA from Northern Brewers. It was easy equipment wise to move to BIAB. Now I can't get enough. Your win site has been very informative and I've been reading everything I can't get my hands on. Looking forward to future chats! Happy BIABrewing!

I am from Atlanta, ga in the US. I heard of this site listening to an episode of basic brewing radio. The site looks interesting. I have been brewing for a few years. I went to BIAB after moving up from extract brewing. I thought of it as a less expensive step up to all grain. I have "stalled" in BIAB because it is easy and products a good beer. After hearing the podcast, it seems like I might need to exam if this may be the system I will be building on as my preferred method.

Hi all!
Swede here from Stockholm. Heard about this site from the two biggest brewer-boards in Sweden.
BIAB is so conveniant comparing to using mashing vessels. I have made beer many-o-times before
but nothing like searching ways to improve the brew, right?

Welcome Bootsie, Lex811117, and jocke0kniven,
Bootsie, I'm SURE you'll find plenty of help if you need it.... Not many women around these parts.
Lex811117, The celebrities from that Basic Brewing show are regular posters here. If you're nice, they might answer some questions for you... If you're mean, then I'll answer your questions.
jocke0kniven, It's always good to look for ways to improve. You'll be brewing "The greatest beer in the world, ever". I couldn't resist that cheesy Beerfest quote. SORRY.
