Hi Edzki;
Good luck with the brew.
Here are a few comments for what I noticed in your file;
I have my Buffalo 40L set at 38cm.2cm x 35cm (40.1L) as you don't want to go above the handle screws ideally.
Mash volume is exceeding the kettle size here (even though you have the Buffalo at 43L).
What you can do is either reduce your VIF until the mash volume is at a safe level, or use
something like a hopsock so that you don't lose as much wort to trub etc. (means you need less water initially).
You have some values in areas like "pre-pitching" probably just a carry over from the previous file, but it is always
a good idea to clear all entries, as if you were to look at this at a later stage it may be confusing.
Not sure about the campden tablet, is your water that bad? It is up to you, but I have heard others say it is unnecessary.
You have the attenuation set at 70% which is why you are getting an F.G. of 1.017.
If you are going to use US-05 yeast for this recipe, it can be more like 80% attenuation, but to be honest, this is
not something to worry about. The beer will end up at what it is, the BIAbacus is only a guide.
