Hello
I am having a brew day tomorrow. The grain bill is:
Pale Malt 85%
Torrified Wheat 10%
Crystal Malt 5%
Do i mash this lot together for the 90 mins or should i add the crystal, and indeed the wheat, later?
And if so, why?
Cheers
Dave

Bradfordlad,
You don't need to mash the crystal malt! It is already converted! People just add all the grain together and mash all at once! No harm! The wheat needs to be converted but for brew in a bager's we treat it as a common grain!

I spent lots of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I squandered
I've stopped drinking, but only when I'm asleep
I ONCE gave up women and alcohol - it was the worst 20 minutes of my life
