something to stop the bag touching the bottom?

im all set to go with biab but my only problem is thinking of a way to stop the bag touching the element and hop strainer. i have a 60 litre boiler and last night i tested it to see if i can hold the mash temperature, in 90 minutes i lost almost 3 degrees which i think is good. My idea was to put three cups in the bottom and a metal pizza tray on top but i never realised how hot water is at 66 degrees so im going to find it hard to take them out again once iv made my wort.
Any ideas what i can use from household things, iv spent my budget so it has to be something id probably have. Its not the element im bothered about because it wont be turned on its the hop strainer, i dont want to knock it out.
What do other people use?

borntobewild,

You don't have to put anything on the bottom. I use a bungee cord around the top of the kettle and that works for me. See it here http://www.stempski.com/biab.php There are discussions on this forum that has extensive information on what people use. search the forum for: Search term used: +burned +bag good luck!

I see what you are saying with using a bungee rope my problem is i got my bag from the local home brew store and its too small to wrap around so it has to be tied and put in. Im going to make a bigger bag next week i just wanted a quick fix for tonight. I just wondered what other people in my position do.

As I'm sure I've posted somewhere else, I use a curved roasting rack that I got from a kitchen store in a mall, around $15
I tie a length of bricklayers line to it so I can fish it out before the boil. It still looks brand new after about 50 mashes.
