Hi everyone,
I'm from western new york, I've wanted to get into brewing for years now, and I finally got a brew kit for xmas this year. I have a few brews under my belt so far using extracts and I want to take the jump to all grain and figured BIAB was the way to go. I found this site searching for resources for BIAB and think that this site will go a long way in helping me pin down my style.
A little bit about me,
I am a masters student in mental health counseling, and have been working in group homes for about a year now. I still live with my parents so brew day can be a bit cluttered, I don't have much space to work with and our kitchen is small and a horrible set up so it is challenging for me to get everything together.

Welcome aboard piakiev, there are people here who do small and medium scale brewing in their kitchens. You might want to check out mini biab or maxi biab to get the most from a small set up.

Hello all. I am a stay at home dad (former teacher) in Wyoming. I stumbled across this site from hbt looking for biab bag designs. I have been brewing extract and partial mash for 6 years. I finally have decided to move to all-grain (I'm not entirely giving up on extract brewing though). I have spent a lot of time researching all-grain techniques, and biab appeals to my kiss (keep it simple stupid) philosophy. I am looking forward to using this site as a tool to make better beer. Bottoms up!

Hey everyone, my name is Wayne. I'm from Tennessee, and have never tried BIAB before. I stumbled upon this site when looking for an easy to use biab calculator for my first attempt. Hopefully everything will work out there.

Good Day Wayne(Borovy2499), Welcome to our site! If you have ever done a partial mash with Extract, then if you used a bag to hold special grains, then your next step would be MORE grains, and NO extract.... BIAB.

You now have full permission to download everything.

If you have any questions, just ask, and we can answer!

Hello, I'm looking forward to learning what this site has to offer. I've been brewing for a few years and did my first biab a few days ago. So much easier than other methods and can't wait to get my system more dialed in.

Hello. My name is Dan, and I'm from Missouri. I've only brewed from extract, but am ready to take the plunge into AG with BIAB. I've got a 60 qt pot and my wife is sewing my grain bag... can't wait to get started (after I read through this forum, of course)!

Hello all. I live in Toowoomba and have been doing BIAB for about 18 months now. I spent 20 years doing kit and kilo mostly then discovered the knowledge online in forums not unlike this one which has made me progress to the great beers that BIAB does. I bought a 50lt pot after doing quite a few 19lt pot brews and haven't looked back. I also no-chill which is a godsend for me and I keg my beer and have temp control so can ferment all year round. I am a member of AHB and found this site thru that site.

Well, this is obviously my first post and would like to say hello to all. I have been
home-brewing 11 years and all-grain 7 of those. I have done 5 biab brews and have been
converted to the method. I have since sold my old school 2 tier ss system and have
built a new biab tree, which I call the "Rat Rig". I continuously recirculate and use
a digital controller to automate temp control. So far, my effeminacy is between 68 to
70 percent with my crankenstein opened all the way up. I live in central Wisconsin (US)
and brew 12 to 18 batches a year. That is enough for now.

Greetings everyone. My name is Michael and I am from Southern California, about an hour outside of Los Angeles. I'm a software engineer by trade. I have brewed 7-8 batches using extract and 1 batch all grain by borrowing a friends mash tun and kettle.

This website looks great, and I am hoping BIAB can ease me into doing all grain brewing without having to buy a whole bunch of new equipment. Thank you for reading, and see you on the forums!
