subliminal, bazbaby3.

Welcome to the BIAB site. I started out as a 3V brewer but graduated up to biab. Much simpler and with less equipment. The beer is good and your friends here are good too!
tap 1 Raspberry wine
tap 2 Bourbon Barrel Porter
tap 3 Czech Pilsner
tap 4 Triple IPA 11% ABV

Pipeline: Mulled Cider 10% ABV

Good Day dvaad, Good day, BAIB is the next step from Extract + steep. If you have a bag that can hold the kettle, than you can BIAB now. A slightly smaller bag can work, but it needs to be stirred very oftern to help conversion.

Hello BIABers :) I'm from Netherlands, looking for some excellent advises about homebrewing. I've started about half year ago, with few extract batches. Stuck, frustrated with slow buildup of my 3V setup instead of just brewing. Few weeks ago I learned about BIAB from some web articles and it came back lately with force of crazy dudes from BrewingTV :)
I'd love to try BIAB, because is all about frequent brewing :)

Good Day Mirogster, Welcome to the Site. Brewing small batches 2.8Gallon/11.6L batches is asomething that is great, but, not alays covered...Except here! check out our topic Mini-BIAB's http://www.biabrewer.info/viewforum.php?f=23
You can brew as often as you need, in a small place and use different grain bills or hops, each time, and have only one "American" case to drink.

Let us know if you have Questions, and we can help you.

Hi all,

I'm from Sydney, Australia. I'm fairly new to the home brew scene and already I'm wanting to get into all grain. BIAB looks like the perfect method, I look forward to sifting through all the excellent information here. Thanks to everyone that pitched in to create it.

Good Day BeerNut70, Welcome to the site. Biab is the way to go, as soon as possible.
You only need the kettle you have, a bag the size of the kettle.
With a good thermometer and Hydrometer, Good beer is coming your way.

Hello, I'm from Southwest Missouri, USA. I have done a few extract brews and have recently discovered BIAB. I think this may work better for me then going to traditional all-grain. Hoping to learn from your expertise.

Hey all. I'm from Loudoun County, Virginia, which is outside - very far, thankfully - of Washington, D.C.

I used to make wine and have recently got back into brewing, only this time with beer. In reading up on all of the changes in equipment and methods over the past eight years, I came across BIAB. It sounded genius. I don't understand why more people aren't using it.

Anyway, about the only thing slowing me down is getting voile bag. I can get the material, but I don't know how to sew, and my wife has proclaimed that this is "my" hobby, not hers. Actually, she'd make me a bag if I asked, but I don't want to give her the satisfaction of asking for help.

Looks like I have to learn to sew.

Best.

Good Day LoudounBrew, Welcome to the site.
You can't be far enough away from D.C. But, BIAB is the best way to brew All-Grain, The reason in America that BAIB is growing quickly, is We only need one kettle, not three, and only one heat source, not two.
We do need a BIG bag
Look at http://www.thehomebrewery.com/Merchant2 ... t_Code=C41 it is a big bag, pretty good for starting. Look around the site for everything about BIAB and let us know if you need help.

Tell her that you don't want to bother her so you're looking for another female that knows how to sew to help with this project.

Hi, I'm Dan. I work at a homebrew shop in Texas and am intrested in learning more about BIAB methods from those with more experience. I've done a few with great results but they were just session beers and I've heard that I could get into bigger beers too. I found this forum while watching a You Tube video

Welcome danwbrews,I think it is great that you are taking the time to learn this method,I have been dissapointed at the attitude many homebrew shops have toward BIAB,and think any employee with a good background in it will be a huge asset to their teamm,Welcome and have fun!

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear some HBS are giving a bad attitude. Our shop is of the attitude "Anything for Great Beer Here!" We are very receptive to all methods of brewing and encourage brewers to try different things. Sure, we would like to sell everyone those expensive Brewing Rigs, but why? Does it make better beer to brew on a $5000 rig or just have lots of fresh grains and hops and yeast and a good method? I will have fun. "It's all about the beer!" Both are quotes from my boss and owner of the company.

hello,
My name is Gianfranco and I'm from Rome, Italy. I have always done kit and partial mash, now I want to go to all grain and biab I think the best solution for homebrewers. I hope to find many friends to share experiences.
Thank you for your hospitality.

tbone73,

Gianfranco BIAB will solve all the problems that people associated with the "Traditional" 3V method. Easy and inexpensive biab will satisfy the most temperamental palate.

1. Where are you from?
Bellingham, WA
2. How did you stumble across the site?
Homebrewtalk

3. What you think of it so far?
Looks like a wealth of knowledge!

4. Have you brewed at all before. If so, for how long and what method are you currently using?
I've done two partial boil Extract brews so far and they are both fermenting at the moment.

I'm hoping to make the leap to BIAB AG Brewing this weekend if I can get my Keggle setup and a bag made.

Good Day Iqbal624, Welcome to the site. I hope your Keggle works well and your bag fits well.
Let us know how you do, and if you have problems, let us know and we can help.

Good Luck.
