Hi,

I'm Phil from NW UK, came across this site being referred to on many other forums. I started brewing last year doing kits and am looking to giving BIAB a go. I can see this is the place to be to help guide me through my first steps doing BIAB :)

Cheers
Phil

Hi everyone.

I am Ganges from Singapore. I have been brewing for about 2 years now but mostly kits and extracts. Everything is imported where I am so the cost is horrendous. Recently a 10Gal or 53l brew pot with all the fittings came into the used market and I snapped it up. So here I am waiting for my grains to arrive to do my first BIAB batch.

Hi! Long time reader, first time poster!! :D

Finding this thread was a pain. I almost wasn't able to be a particapating member because, well, I must be a dummy cause I couldn't find this thread.....

I've been brewing for 15 years, off and on. The last few years I've been doing AG. I did my first two BIAB brews this week and I really really happy with them. I think I cleaned my mas tun for the last time.

I sewed up a biab bag yesterday but my first two biab's I used a paint strainer. I used a 7.5 gallon kettle for a five gallon batch.
I'm trying to figure out a good way to use my keggle so I hope to get some great feedback from the biab pros.

I'm in the 'States, I love beer, bicycles, burritos, etc... ;)

Good Day PNJ, welcome to the site!, Great to hear you BIAB! 5gal. beer in a 7.5gal pot is not too tough, a sparge, or two and you could have good Original Gravity.
Look over the site and if you have questions, we should be able to answer.

I am in PA, USA. Am a cider maker, but have made a few batches of beer along the way as I have the equipment and the interest. I stumbled upon BIAB just before making any investment in traditional mashing equipment (just in time, so to speak). Best regards, Lee.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Im pretty new to brewing, but have a couple batches under my belt. I came across this site while doing research on brewing. I wanted to get away from extract kits and take my try at BIAB so hopefully you will all be able to help me out and point me in the right direction.

Hello people! New guy from cold and snowy Norway. I´m looking into home brewing, and found this site by way of google. It looks like a really nice place to learn and grow. Hope to get started with my first brew soon, thanks to the guides here. Two kids 1&3 years and a working wife will tap on my brewing time tho, so quick and simple brewing methods is my way to go at it. See you around!

Hi all,
This is my first post here.
My name is Archie and I'm from Franklin Ma, USA.
I'm new to brewing (3 extract brews under my belt)but I'm hooked to home brewing for sure
I found this site while on HomeBrewTalk.com. I am interested in getting into AG brewing but found myself a bit intimidated by the process. There was a link to this site in a BIAB thread and It seems this is a great way for me to get my feet wet.

Thanks to all who have provided the info in this site

Archie

Relax AA your worries are ove,r BIAB is the way to go. 1 pot 1 bag and a heat source is all you need. The rest you will have already for your extract brewing.

If your stuck just ask...

:luck:

Hi all!

I'm from North Carolina USA, heard about BIAB from many podcasts, great looking site, I'm up to brew number 12 (extract + steep), and I am fully employed.

I want to get away from extract and that is how I found BIAB.
