after around 3 weeks of dithering I've finally made some decisions. 
Barley crusher is winging it's way to me from USA
Eventually decided on Hop and Grape 50 litre electric boiler with stainless steel ball valve and hop strainer (I thought the larger ones would be too heavy for me to easily move to where I could put a hoist).
Grain, hops and yeast and a few other items ordered, just a grain bag to sort now and then sit back and wait for all to arrive.
I'll order the bag tomorrow and then give myself a few days break from surfing brewing equipment web sites and try and get a life back.
Next thing I need to do is have a look at BeerSmith2 which I downloaded a few weeks ago.
Now for what's probably one of my last pints of Scottish heavy, my corny must be almost empty.
