Bob, you are a legend! I have no idea why I am surprised you are a mind-reader as well .

Just make sure that when you do the video, you follow the BIABrewer script. It would be a first to see a BIAB video without some sort of variation

We are all rooting for you and those that don't understand the expression, probably will be in a couple of minutes :P.

I am guilty of neglect. I have lots of excuses some are valid and most are not. Hold on a little longer and I will deliver a good product. We need a official and simple video for newbies. The new year begins shortly and New Years resolutions are free and plentiful.

The football playoffs are starting so I will be a little distracted. I (we) will prevail!

As you know Bob, I live in Australia (Perth - the west coast) and am going on holiday to Sydney (the east coast) for 12 days on NYE but haven't packed yet.

Can you send the Packers around at 5pm tomorrow please? I will buy you a beer .

Sorry, practices and team meetings are scheduled. Next year perhaps. The Green Bay Packers got their name from the company that paid for their uniforms the Indian meat packing company. http://www.packers.com/history/birth-of ... egend.html

Nik,

It was nice. I loved your work area. But of course it was all Greek to me. I have video taped I will get on it myself soon!

Thanks Bob I am looking forward for your video. The "brewing" area is my balcony I live in small apartment and after the former extract brewdays in the kitchen my wife decided to kick me out of her kingdom to mess up only an easy to clean space .Of course I took this as an oportunity to involve all grain in my brewing career and now all the family helps .Kids love milling the grain (I have a corona mill so no hard work for me )my wife helps with cleaning and bottling in a matter to keep the mess I produce minimal .

Great job on the video nik and Miren. I love the sound track too, it sounds like something from a 1970's porn movie.

Ahhh, I thought it sounded familiar (because we all know I've never seen one of those "other" movies).

Good on you nik and mirem ,

On the next BIAB vid maybe use your music and BobBrews brewing naked? Bob reckons him naked will attract a lot of female brewers to BIAB. (Like many things in brewing, this is currently just a theory held by only one person but who knows?)

Do you find the conical good? I remember seeing these a while ago. I was trying to work out how you got it spinning so that it didn't fall over during fermentation but then caught a glimpse of a stand towards the end :).

And good on you too for all the brewers you always help out in Greece ,

Thanks for the kind words.
@PP.
I have bought this on my earlier days of brewing this is the one I use http://newstore.vvessel.com/ .It's a love and hate item, you can brew with safety 19 liters of beer otherwise it needs a blowoff valve construction .It's total volume is 25 liters.
If you have a special place for brewing ,it does the job very well also when using kegs it's very convinient .Of course the main advantage is that you do secondary in the same vessel and the exposion of the wort to air is minimal during taking off the yeast trub.On the other hand it's somehow impractical if you have the fermenter in a diferent place than the place you brew ,you will need a second bracket or a kind of stand to move it around .Also it's shape and the mounting way it uses ,makes the fitting of it in small fermentation freezer almost imposible.
Personaly after many brews (because I live in a small apartment and also bottling my beers)I can live without it .

nice video Nik. short and to the point.
BTW, we checked out those plastic conical fermenters here too. they have those "ears" that you hang the fermenter by. the "ears" are hollow and seemed like a good place for the nasties to hide out in.
Cube:
fermenter: Sourdough Spelt Ale, Classic Lambic, Oud Brune, Barrel Aged Belgian Dubbel
Kegs: Bob's Black IPA, Blanc Blond, Soda...
to be brewed:
