That sounds good, and a very good way to try differnet Hops.

Did you do a 60/15/7 hop addition or only FWH.

AND, did you IC, Slo-Chill or No-Chill????

So many questions, So little time...

1.054 OG
1.012 FG
36 IBU (BeerSmith2)
90 minute mash @ 156F*
60 minute boil
22 IBU's FWH
14 IBU's 10 minutes before end of boil
chilled immediately after flameout with copper IC
SafAle S-04

*You have to mash on the high side otherwise a SMaSH tends to be very thin bodied

I've done this recipe with 2-row Pale and it just isn't the same. I loves me some Vienna, and Styrian Goldings are my favoritist all time hops. If you ever get a chance to try Goose Island Honkers Ale (especially on draught) you'll see where my appreciation for Styrians comes from.

Last year at the local competition. The brew master split open a 50 lb. sack of Styrian Goldings hops. They were giving away as much as you could carry! I got about 10 pounds of it! I have been using it everywhere I could. So now I have to get some Vienna and give it a whirl! Sorry you weren't there!
