California Common. http://www.northernbrewer.com/documenta ... Common.pdf
You can use

Northern Brewer USA Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

If you chose liquid yeast:
WYEAST #2112 CALIFORNIA LAGER YEAST.
Optimum temp: 58-68°F 14.4°C - 20°C

So I could use them for 60 mins for good bittering, with a couple of mins at the end to give some aroma?

Think they're around the 9% mark, so pretty punchy.
