I just spotted this on the radio also, I've just watched the you tube video, is it really necessary to recirculate the mash?

Not it's not necessary. In fact it can lead to more problems than it's worth. Ask Todd H.! He is the expert on that! I haven't finished the program the "Boss" said she wanted me??? Yes. it was just another job to do, nothing good!
