There is no such thing as a overly hopped beer!!! When your lips go numb (maybe?) Remember that hops fade with time (actually they stick to the sides of the bottle) So even if? (heaven forbid) you have a problem with hops? You will have a very drinkable beer in a few weeks.

If you can start off with enough water in your kettle to account for boil off; I would suggest you do that. You ended up with more wort with the lid on but you also didn't allow the DMS to boil off. The BIABacus can hepl your volumes.
