No work today so i stayed home doing odds and ends around the house. As always this ended up with cleaning a fermentor, going through my beer stuff when i started getting the itch for brewing. It was just after lunch and i thought bugger it, im gunna brew! I had no idea what to brew so looked at what i had and just threw in a few malts and hops together that i had excess of. How good is it that you can do an all grain brew (including cracking) in a few hours, with little effort and still get other stuff done around the house!
I have not brewed for a while so it helped scratch the itch, or maybe made it worse? Hope it turns out nice.

Good on you Ivesy! I hope you didn't start drinking too early in the brew. Brew day length is always proportional to time of first drink
. You finished yet
?

Good on you Ivesy, it's always a bonus to score a day off and even better that you brewed.

Yep, a day off and brewing go hand in hand. Finished the boil at about 5:30, helped with the kids dinner then went to footy training, got home and finished it off in the fermentor. Bang, all done! Good day after all!

Good stuff Ivesy
. I remember coming home from work once at 5:30 and thinking, "I might as well do a brew." I also thought, "Might as well have a beer as well." This was the first time I chilled in the kettle
