      Shdougan, You could Download BIABACUS, and enter all that is shown, or Multiply every Ingredient by .4325, (2.5 gallon/5.78 gallon).
      
      the Bitterness may be off by 5-6%.

      Does anyone have a recipe? I have a 10 gallon kettle and I am looking for a good BIAB recipe that would be similar to Zombie Dust. Does anyone have a good recipe they have used? Do you have a recipe in the BIABacus?

      Thanks for sharing, I brewed this today and despite overshooting my mash temp, I had a really cruisy and enjoyable brew day. I tasted my post boil sweet liquor and if that's anything to go by, this will be a cracker brew!

   3. BIAB Bag...

      So I decided to use the bag formula and make a couple of custom bags for my kettle and one for a friend. Let's just say the sewing part I can handle, the measuring and cutting the material...uuhhhh, I wasn't so cheerful!! Here's a pic my wife took as I was finishing my last bag. I made four bags for a total of $25. Not bad!!

   4. 12 Months / 12 Brew days...need 4 more recipe's please

      I am hoping to brew at least once a month this year, so far I have 8 recipe's and am looking for 4 more. Any help, recipe's, info etc is much appreciated. I just got a keg to brew in so I will be able to do some bigger beers. I have, right now, a Black IPA bottled, a Hopburst just bottled, and Sock Monkey Stout getting ready to be bottled.

      I have brewed the all grain recipe, and despite runnung out of propane and a stuck fermentation, it has turned out very well. At only 1 week in bottles, it is really good!
      
      And What about a lawnmower beer? An excellent, highly drinkable beer for a warm day!

   5. New project

      I just got a keg to transform into my brew kettle!! I didn't think about a picture before I started, but here is a before and after...all hand sanded.
      
      Parts are on order to get it set up, I'm itching to do my first BIAB in it.

      Happy New Year, everyone!!
      
      I cannot seem to find what I am looking for and that is simply all the measurements I need during my brew day. Water level, hydrometer readings, temperature, etc. Is there more that I need to do/less? This would be a great help to know all the measurements I need to take. I will be putting all of these measurements into my comments section so I don't forget during my brew day...

   7. Please help with my 1st recipe input

      Here is the recipe I used to plug into my BIABacus and attached is my input into BIABacus for the first time. I have several questions, too.
      1. What is EBC in the grain bill section? I had to keep adding and subtracting to get the SRM number to match the recipe below.
      2. Are the definitions somewhere of EBC and SRM etc?
      3. In section K, what is the actual amount of water I use at the very beginning? Where do I find that number?
      a. None of those numbers match the boil size 8.27 gallons the...

      MS: sorry, one other question, what is the 10.1% you're comparing it to? What is the other number/data point?
      Sorry, I got a number inputted in the BIABacus wrong on post #10. Disregard that file. This screen shot I attached is based on what you said in post #8. 7.4% is the difference between 79.3% and 71.9% in Section P.

   8. First BIAB...failure?

      I brewed my first BIAB yesterday and did so on short notice so I must preface it by saying I didn't have a whole lot of BIAB information. I brewed with my buddy, he did a milk stout and I a hopped up IPA. We used Beersmith to input my recipe I got out of Zymurgy. This was both our first time trying this method moving straight from extract. BIAB seems easy to do on paper, but I ran into some problems during my brewing. 1: temps were off from start to finish. We entered weight, grain temp...etc...

      I just racked into my secondary today and it smells awesome. ~ 1.014. I added 4oz of dry hops. It tasted good, as good as a green flat beer can taste. I'm excited to see what happen in two weeks when it's finished.
      
      I am also going to be brewing my 2nd BIAB batch on Saturday with my new DIY custom bag!! : )
