hi dj i am going to bottle this brew and save some for the bottle swap [ yes i did get the message from uncle joshua ]hope the beer tastes ok .
and yes lambert i will save some for a few months but will sample a couple for quality control if you know what i mean :yum:

sorry bob but that doesnt make sense to me :headhit: what i can understand is if i give the cake a good stir while im on the last ten mins of boil then add the wort :dunno: sorry this is new to me

hi yeasty when i posted yesterday i thought there is still beer mixed in with the trub , the boiler has got a hop strainer on it but if i tip the boiler the wort still comes out [how can i put this ? ] very sandy to think of a better way of putting it :think: bellow my tap holds about 4l . a thought...

hi pistol no probs about the post , i will try and keep this simple i have about 4l of trub in the bottom of my boiler when the tap stops flowing [emptying my boiler into my fv ]this 4l is where my calculations are going wrong i think :think:

hi all i ended up with sg of 1044 with 20l in fv not purfect but not bad for a guess sg should have been 1048 at 19l but realy enjoyed doing the brew hope it turns out ok i used safe ale 04 yeast hope these are going to be happy days :thumbs:

hi yeasty dont know if you read my posts today everything went ok ,by the way not been to brewery the not giving you food is a yorkshire thing makes you feel pissed quicker so you think the beer is good :clap:

hi all got mi brew in fv couple of small problems ie not enough left in boiler for 19l ended up with 15.5l added some water into fv but still got mi og of 1037 probably miss calculations on my part but everything looks good cant wait for brew no2 thanks for looking out on me cheers a very happy lee ...
