Thanks. That calculator is useful. Will play around and post a profile. The dealer i buy from has something called ph 5.2 stabilizer. That stuff useful? Not sure what it will do for the final flavour? Not only ph important. Taste of the water also a biggie

Thanks guys, not sure where to get ro water. Everyone has potable tap water here. Not much of a market for ro water. Maybe easier to use something that binds the ions or acidic malt, some acid or such?

Try some wheat malt or some yeast that flocculates less if you want it more cloudy. I love hefe wheat beers I am also not so worried about clear beer. More worried about boiling husks for 90 minutes while using pilsner malts.

Better keep it under 170 not worth a little extra effeciency to dunk too hot. Do you dunk or simply mash with total needed water? Grain to liquid ratio matters?
