I have some comments on olleman's file. You've set the efficiency to 73%. You should let the BIABacus estimate the efficiency as it will depend on the recipe. I notice that in Jenno's Munich Helles spreadsheet he has set the efficiency to 65%. Is that the right thing to do? - shouldn't he rely on the auto efficiency feature? If I delete the 65% it estimates an efficiency of 55% which is quite a difference.

A couple of things I've spotted in PR1.3H: In the recipe report tab on line 93 it has "Fermention:" instead of "Fermentation:". Also, on line 91 there is a space missing before the &. On the main tab, in sections S-V you've abbreviated centimetre to cms. It should be cm. This has been done correctly...

You need to change section Y to allow for dextrose being sugar. Set FGDB to 100% and MC to 0%. This should set about 46ppg. You'll also find that the ABV figure isn't quite right because it doesn't allow for sugar being more fermentable than malt.

I've done my first two BIAB AG brews and have used the BIABacus. It is a fantastic spreadsheet and I can see no need to use any other software. It's much easier to use than Beersmith. I cover my boiler in insulation during the mash so it would be a pain to take all that off to stir it, so I don't bother. Plus it would lose heat. So I don't stir until just before pulling the bag.
