How did that work out? Did you just educated guess your quantities?

One note of caution: I used the BIABrewer calculator and Beersmith; both gave me an initial volume of about 43 litres. Many thanks guys. Ironically, two minutes (possibly less) after sending that post last night an email popped in to my inbox last night. So I am now one step further to BIAB!! Once the bag arrives, then I will just need to work out the quantities for my first brew!!

Well I received my bargain Buffalo boiler (which is now destined to be a Christmas present! :sad: ), so will have to wait a while to do my first BIAB brew in it! I must admit I think I've got a bit of a bargain. There is one tiny dent in the body of the boiler and some minimal limescale to scrub out...
