Is 79% ambitious for the first BIAB? Probably just me, but I got about 65% on the first (60 min mash/boil with no mashout) and 70% on my 2nd (90 min mash/boil with a mashout). Going back to the boiler, I use a 40l buffalo and is easy to clean and I have had no problems with crud on the element. There is a slight crescent at the end of the boil, but I get a good rolling boil and it comes off with a bit of vinegar. I use a hop stopper and have no problem cleaning the tap.
