   1. First time using BIABacus!

      Hey all, I just started brewing an would like your input on this recipe. I tried BIAB twice before using 1 gallon recipe kits and failed the first time because my water volume was way off and the second one the OG was very low so I suspect either my mash was not efficient or my water was off... The first recipe kit I did was a cream ale, the ingredients went like this:
      0.75 lbs pale malt
      0.75 lbs pilsner
      0.2 lbs rice flakes
      0.21 oz hallertauer 60 min
      0.12 oz hallertauer 1 min
      safale american...

      I will definitely give it a try using the modifications you did to the recipe. Section K is kind of confusing to me (like what is SWN?) but as you said I will mash using 13.79L. One thing I learned from last batches is that I need something to keep track of my volume, I will probably make some identifiers on my stirring spoon at half gallon increments.
