My LHBS doesn't do grain and I can't face another session with the old Marga Mill, it had a funny base on it as it was supposed to just do small handfuls at a time, it had a cute little impractical tray underneath that held a couple hundred grams, so I stood it in a large shallow plastic tub (so I could still use a drill) and had to empty the tub a few times while milling. It probably took a good 20 minutes to mill everything, possibly a lot more as I wasn't checking the time, so I'll keep up my brew clubs tradition of sending it onto the next AG newbie. I think it's a brewers lesson in patience possibly?
Oh, it took forever to shake the left over grains out of the side of the mill stand as it has a hole (for no practical reason I could deduce) that let grains into the stand, it was like those old puzzles where you move ball bearings around a maze, except you couldn't see the maze so it was awkward at best.
so I just bought a barley crusher, woohoo, I'll have that bad boy mounted on a wooden stand and bucket in no time. Happy days.
