Hi Guys

Has anyone used Corn Flakes(Breakfast cereal) as a direct replacement for Flaked Maize in a recipe. I'm thinking they are basically the same thing.

Processed cereals like corn flakes might contain added ingredients (say, iron, vitamins) that you might not want in your beer?

It is an excellent idea though, and am tempted to bung a couple of shredded wheat (100% wheat, nothing added, or taken away, apparently... ) to a small brew. Just for an experiment, like.
