They play Sunday night at 8:30 eastern. The Vikings will be in their new 1.5 Billion dollar stadium. They will be fired up to win the inaugural game. The Packers will be hard pressed to win there. The Vikings have a good defense but they will play their new quarterback Bradford!

With the Vikings in a new 1.1 billion dollar stadium for the first regular season game. I expect a tough matchup, even with Bradford as a new starting QB?

The first half of the games was a total bust for green Bay. One touchdown but absolutely no movement of the ball. The Viking defense is suppose to be one of the best in the league and they showed it or Green Bay was showed to be inept? Rodgers was missing targets or was forced to throw it away. The first half ended with a score of the Vikings ten and the Packers seven!

The second half looked better but we still stunk. Rodgers was missing throws and threw a pick. The coaches decision to go for a 1st down rather than take a easy field goal was a stupid move! We lost 17 to 14 we are now one win and one loss.

Wow I am doing terrible this year so far. jhough missed the first game and he is already beating me

Maybe I need to change my guessing strategy. I've been making my picks in the AM, perhaps I should switch to a couple hours after beer o'clock. Thats usually when my decision making skills are at their sharpest anyway...

The Packers were cruising but took their foot off the gas but held on to a 34 to 27 victory. The Packers defense were again strong against the run but collapsed against the pass. 368 yards giving up was the result of 5 packers starters sitting on the bench!

Next week (Sept. 25th) is the BYE* but we will play the Bears at Lions game.
(*BYE is the one week rest) team's get one a season at various places in the schedule.

The first half was a little surprising in that Aaron threw two interceptions. Both were tipped to the Giants but they end up the same. Lost points. We ended the half leading 17 to 6. Jordy Nelson scored the first TD. a
The second half was a lot slower for the Packers. But we hung on for a 23 to 16 win. The run defense held the Giants to 43 yards rushing. Next Sunday afternoon at 3:25 we play the Cowboys who are 4 and 1.

The Packers started the first half slowly and ended the first half slowly. The Cowboys played good enough to hold a 17 to 6 half time lead. The Pack was pretty bad in coaching and in playing. The fans did well though!
The second half made the first half look good. Everybody on the Packers stunk! The coach will be on the hot seat now! Cowboys win 30 to 16. Now we have the Chicago Bears coming into town this Thursday! We are in big trouble!!
