The American Football Exhibition (practice)games are set to begin on August 7th 2016.
The Packers play in the Hall of Fame game. This game is a extra Exhibition game right after the new members of the Hall of fame are inducted.

This game is a shambles of unready new players and a few 2nd year players. The real players are on the sidelines watching because they are to valuable to be risked. The coaches use this game as a extra chance to evaluate and train the new kids. With huge rosters and playing everybody it makes Cheesestradamus pure luck! It's a crap-shoot! But, It's football time again. Finale!

Previous years players and new players are welcome to compete for big, BIG prizes!

Welcome to Cheesestradamus for the 2016 Green Bay Packer season. Compete against your friends and family with your Packer knowledge. Simple to do, easy to win! Fun for all. The Season starts August 7th 2016! The Pre-Season games will be played as a shakedown or trouble shooting test. The points won't count for the grand prize except as a tie breaker. So you are encouraged to play every game! Get your friends to play to enhance your fun!

The season is about to start and it's Cheese time. Cheesestradamus is for both the family togetherness part of football and the hardened statistician nut. You may have never seen a American Football game or you might have seen every game. You're chances of winning prizes are about the same?

Fantasy football fans seem to over think everything and the kids pick because they like a teams mascot? Yes, if you study, you will have a better chance of winning the weekly contest. It seldom works out that way? The preseason is hard to predict because of all the young players being evaluated. I need to check out the program to test all the internal changes I made. I need you to play the preseason to help me check it out.

The preseason scores will be used in the case of a tie at the end of the season. So it is worth your while to play the preseason to help test the system and accumulate points. The answers to the ten questions are right in front of you when you pick. Just pick a little lower or higher. It's that easy!

Sunday (tomorrow) is the extra Exhibition game. August 7th 7PM Wisconsin time. There are 5, count`em, five. So there is no reason not to play? The pre-season (now called the Exhibition season) has a extra HOF Exhibition game for us and another team. It is the first game of any sort for the NFL in 2016. The game is played after the newest group of retired players are enshrined into the Hall of Fame (HOF).

These first games are a farce. 90 players are in camp and they have to weed out most until they can narrow it down to 11 men to play at a time. So the coaches don't play the veterans as they don't want them to get injured. So they just play the rookies and 2nd year players. To the Packers fan it's fun to watch because we have been reading about the rookies all Spring and we want to see if they are as good as advertised. (Usually not)

So what all this verbiage means is that the Exhibition season is a total crap shoot. Picking a score or whatever is pure luck! But. It gives me time to make any corrections to the program and gets us in the habit of "Doing the Cheese" every week! The points gathered (although pure luck) are used to break ties. Last year two winners were chosen by the Exhibition season points. They are valuable.

The game was Canceled? The NFL canceled Sunday night's Hall of Fame game because of poor field conditions. the midfield logo was The main area of concern. It recently was painted and it was slick and hard. In other areas, particularly where letters were piped in red, it was almost as though the paint melted on the artificial grass blades and rubber pellets, resulting in a gooey mixture that might have caused players' cleats to stick into the ground. The actual surface was transplanted from the Superdome in New Orleans.


The former employee who used the wrong type of paint on a plastic field said "I fucked up? " The 30,000 fans who drove 3,00 miles(or Less) said "Oh, things like that happen " The former employee is recovering at Saint Micheal's hospital in Canton Ohio.

Yeah, I have been stinking it up already! I have a long way to go before I catch you. You have been brilliant so far. The preseason is a lot of luck. I am sure that the amount of players on the cheesestradamus web site will increase once the real games begin. A lot of my friends start playing only when you have the players defined and the skill becomes relevant again. I just want to test the system and get people in the habit of playing.

The Packers looked good and Aaron Rodgers made his debut. The secondary and defensive backfield was superb. Next Thursday the Packers will Play in Kansas City. The regulars will not play and the Packers will sort out the last team members.

This upcoming Thursday September 1, 2016 is the LAST Exhibition (or pre-season) game.
up to now it was pretty much luck as to points. All the players Thursday will be either winning a place on the team or bagging groceries next week? Hearts will be broken.

The Packer finished the exhibition season with a loss. They ended with a three win and one loss preseason. No starters played and the team looked a little disorganized but with 90% rookies that is expected. A few injuries but they are not disclosed. The new kicker did well. The next game is the opening day game against Jacksonville September 11th.

I wore a Packer t-shirt (tradition). My red Manchester United Jersey is for Saturdays College football game. The Wisconsin Badgers colors are Red and White. They are playing at the Packers stadium in Green Bay. (for some reason?) I have matching shorts. I will be all in red (silk?) I will watch from my leather chair unless I jeep sliding off due to the silkiness of the outfit?? Go Badgers, go Packers and go Mally!

The Packer played a tight game against the surprising Jaguars. The Packer were stalled to 3 and outs because of field position. When they were in the middle of the field they were back to their old selves and took time off the clock and put points on the board. Packer win 27 to 23.
