Thanks for the thread count! I purchased a polyester hop bag at my local brew shop. Now I will go hunt up thread counts on these things. Perhaps, an old pillow case could be pressed into service;)

I live in South Wales, I have done one kit brew which I really enjoyed but found it a tad soulless. I am looking to get into all grain brewing and it seems BIAB is the way forward. This site is a great resource!

My names Bevan located in Riddells Creek (just north/west of Melbourne), Victoria Australia. Ive have decided to move from extract and have a go at AG brewing. BIAB looks like an awesome way of starting my AG journey! After going into my local Home Brew supply guy shop to get some idea about costs and advice, he gave(for FREE!) me a keg that has has been modified with legs and mounted gas burner! Top bloke! Will let you know how I go once I do my first brew.

Hello to everyone from Canada.....Toronto area....it's presently approx. -10 C here today. I'm a youngish 60 year old retired guy. I was with the Hamilton Fire Service 30 plus years and retired 6 years ago.
I took up brewing about 1 year ago typically brewing extract and partial grain brews. I'm looking to go all grain and came across BIAB while searching around on the net. BIAB sure looks like the way to go and I will be upgrading to a larger kettle soon to give it a go.
This site is amazing with all of the available info.

Hello, new to biabrewer.info, but not to brewing. Been homebrewing for 4-ish years. Started off with extracts and have moved into the all grain world two years ago. Found sparging to be a complete pain without a HERMS or RIMS setup so giving BIAB a shot now.

Live in the Denver area, work as an engineer, love a good homebrew every now and then.

Hey all -- I'm from NY and have been home brewing for 1 1/2 years, most extract and mini-mash. Prepping some new equipment now to start all-grain BIAB. Very interested in how to scale all-grain recipes originally design for 2/3 vessel brewing to BIAB.

I'm from the Basque Country in northern Spain. I,ve started brewing recently, pre-hoped kits from Coopers and Brewferm so far. I found out about BIAB when i started gathering info to start brewing all-grain. After reading the master guide and some of the posts, i'm convinced it's the way to go. I'm currently preparing my garage so i don't have to brew in the kitchen and setting up a fermentation chamber with a used fridge, and next i'll have to nuy a new kettle (I think i will go after a 75l one).

I'm planing to do my first BIAB batch in one month, still deciding wich recipe i shoul try first.
